i think kyra is the daughter of rian and deet, and jen the son of brea and kylan because kylan and jen look a lot a like and they have the same flute. maybe kylan gave it to his son as a gift. besides I thought that kylan and brea always had a bit of chemistry going on, definitely after they won from the skeksis.

I'm sure this theory has been thought of before me, but I'm only just kinda getting into aor fandom so a newbie, but yeah, I get that dreading feeling that deets visions are where our trips story ends, Rian may be injured by his attempt to heal the crystal, brea likely to be killed by big boy who's name I forget, deet likely die from corruption or just totally lose her own mind to it.

If it is not the time of the great conjunction then it does not matter whether the crystal fragment is the right one or not.

It is certainly Brea in Deet's vision. However, I can't help but feel Brea in that vision isn't carrying her own child (if indeed it is a baby, and that seems to be implied). Intuition--and probably preference/bias--says to me that it's Seladon's baby, and Brea is tasked with protecting him or her.

The next time anyone re watches the show can you take notice of the farmers wife with the necklace they had together the skeksis since their offering lacked and then the girl annoying brea about her shiny hair in the order of lesser service, I swear its the same puppet re used with a different wig and it's driving me nuts!

There are a couple like that... I am pretty sure they even reused Kylan puppet and put a blonde wig on him... Can be seen in Ha'rar when Hup and Deet trying to get into the Citadel :D

@@DarkCrystalConjunction So each of the puppet "actors" could possibly take on different roles. It happened in the Lord Of The Rings and Hobbit movies too! A single actor could portray an elf, a human, an orc, and even a dwarf.

Doesn't go into that detail but I wouldn't doubt it is her child and related to Jen & Kira's dreamfast in the film.

I wonder why Brea is running and not flying away? Did something happen to her wings? And if the childling is Kira, does she have a Drenchen father? That would explain why Kira can only glide and not fly, seeing as how Drenchen females use their wings as fins for swimming and not becoming airborne. Kira may have inherited Drenchen genes. Is Gurjin her father and Naia her aunt?

@@Maldoror2112 I think Brea couldn't fly because she seems to need to jump off of something to gain wind. I know Maudra Fara flew without having any help so maybe wings are different for all or maybe it's do to age and experience. Or maybe something happened to the wings. There is also the crystal bats to think about. What I think on why Kira can't fly is because she didn't have her mother to teach her how to fly, she was raised by Podlings.

I have a feeling Kira's parents are Brea and Gurjin. Jen's parents is Deet and Rian.

I don't understand how people think that that's real on restoring the crystal that's Jen. I know it's Jen because he has the same blue tint in his hair as Rian...

Well, the Netflix audio description says it is Rian @ 1:25. Yes, Rian and Jen do look similar, but that could be just because they are from the same clan linage, or related. :)

I could be way off, but here are my thoughts concerning how a future scene could play out: If Rian fails to heal the Crystal, I believe he may sacrifice himself rather than be captured and have his essence drained. As the Skeksis surround Rian they would taunt him by saying, "Nowhere to go, gelfling!" He might look into the shaft below the Crystal and calmly say, "Yes, there is." Rian would then let himself fall to his death, and on the way down he might see a vision of his friends, Deet, and lastly his infant son Jen. I could hear Rian repeat Ordon's last words to him, "Be brave, my son," before he is consumed by the fires below. As this is happening, the audience sees UrSu pick up the baby Jen to take him to the Valley of the Mystics.
