@@threecheersforsweetcheesew3231 That sadly does not change anyones phobia. as a small kid i always catched insects and spiders and put them into enclosures for a small amount of time to study them but at some point in my childhood i developed an irrational fear for insects and spiders, yet they are still fascinating to me, i wish it wasnt like this but im struggling with all kinds of anxiety and panic attacks, medication made it worse over time. It really pisses me off, because as you said i know they are fearing us giant humans way more than we should fear most of the crawlers, thats why its so irrational to freeze in fear in front of a small spider that just wants to run away from me. i never had the feeling a spider could hurt me but still im more afraid of a tiny spider than a hornet which is the most "dangerous" insect in my region.

@@mohnmann Fear of something potentially dangerous to you is normal and healthy. It also helps the spider......you steer clear of it I fear spiders, but will happily admire them from a distance.

@@mohnmann bro the same happened to me, when i was a kid i didnt care about that, i would catch spiders, and other insects, but then, at some point of my life, i cant even be in the same room as a cockroach i instantly bolt away XD

@@mohnmann In just a few months I've gone from having extreme arachnophobia, to a point were I would sleep on the sofa if I failed to catch a spider and lost it in my room. and other ridiculous things. I now own two Tarantulas of my own ( C.cyaneopubescens & B.hamorii ) and most recently removed a pretty large house spider from my house with my bare hands! very proud moment lol. hope you overcome this stupid fear in the future.

Hey this was a fun video anyway :) just a thought, what if you place the enclosures on the table on some cloth (so you can rotate them more silently, so you dont spook the spiders :) and leave the enclosures for a bit before filming so they can calm down a bit before feeding. Maybe at least with the more easily spooked ones :) thanks as always for a nice video!

There was a large pregnant, female Nobilis False Widow on my bedroom ceiling last saturday morning. Im in the UK and I had never seen one before. I generally don't freak with basic English spiders, I'll pick them up and move them out of the way, or just leave them to get on in life. Yet as stated the false widow freaked me out. I caught it in a tall glass in the end. Ever since Saturday im obsessed with watching videos on spiders and have to say your channel is the best so far. I love your humour and down to earth approach and also love the respect you show these beautiful creatures. I find spiders that im unfamiliar with, scary yet facinating. You and Exotic Lairs are my favorite favorite videos. To sync an old Jewish grandmother would find it entertaining to watch tarantulas being fed bugs is mind-boggling. But I love it. They don't even look like spiders really. They're big and fluffy like a cute cuddly little eight-legged hamster ot something. Whatever I appreciate what you do so keep doing it.

i think the big kindsve cockroaches are nice they just get a bad reputation bcus they move into ppls houses and restaurants and stuff w/ out invite but theyre clean and they dont smell and theyre peaceful and vegetarian and they dont fight or eat each other. you can feed tarantuals on crickets too and crickets are horrible they stink and they make sooo much poo and theyre always fighting and they cannibal each other if they get a chance you have to keep them separate or big ones will eat small ones. but roaches all live together in one box in peace sometime tiny ones even ride around on the back of big ones. i bought a box of dubya roaches to feed my spiders once but after I watched them for a while I couldnt let my spiders eat them so I made them an enclosure and kept them to be pets 💕 they were the luckyest roaches in the shop that day lol

I absolutely love watching your videos. It's funny that as I was watching your video, a medium sized house centipede was dashing all over the hardwood floor of my living room. I've always loved tarantulas and other spiders. At my parents' house there are a lot of Yellow Garden Spiders (Argiope aurantia). During the summer, my dad and I would grab smaller grasshoppers and crickets and feed them to the spiders to entertain ourselves. It was pretty cool to watch.

The brachypelma boehmei is so gentle and sweet. It was my favourite takedown and the favourite tarantula of this video. The coloration is just beautiful. I am still scared of spiders but that one in particular was just so sweet I would want to have her as a pet 🙈 ah exotics lair and you are really getting me to love these fellows. I just need to get my boyfriend to be okay with having one (and my own apartment or house, not rented) 😂
