I torqued a nut too hard and seized it and broke the bolt so, its spinning forever.

Agreed I ran a thrush welded for years on my NAV. Just went back to stock muffler quiet yes but didn't lose much. Just add a glass pack and you are good to go.

@@TheDarkHatch did you remove the resonator aswel as the muffler? I am removing my muffler next week and this sounds just nice 👍🏽 I have removed the resonator already so I hope it will still sound as good as this 🤞🏽

Actually doesn't sound bad im thinking about getting a mid dump exhaust. My exhaust on mine now sounds sick now my car is full bolt ons im waiting now on my turbo kit

You didn't put a straight pipe on? You just took off the muffler? Have you thrown any codes and did you loose gas mileage?

Hi I used to have a 2015 Hyundai veloster turbo & I changed out the Mufflers & put two new rear shocks less than two weeks later a mini cooper s t bone me on the right fender my car was destroyed so I bought a new Hyundai turbo r spec I changed out the Mufflers and exhaust tips it's sound awesome 👋👍🙂

I’m gonna help y’all out because y’all seem to be having trouble. For the exhaust hangers spray jb80 front and back get a big pry bar or big flathead screwdriver and you can pry it off very easy took me like 10 minutes to remove on jack and jack stands as for the bolts I used the Milwaukee 3/8 stubby

Jason Hernandez hey man, after removing the muffler you need to get a turn down welded on so you do not cause any heat issues and fumes into the cab! Yes I am from Bentonville! Lol

Garrett Stroud tork motorsports sells down pipes for about $325 but if you are talking about a turn down to put on at the point you took the muffler off, a local muffler shop could fab one for roughly 40 bucks

Garrett Stroud there is no issue leaving t like this but I strongly recommend getting a turn down put on. It will melt leather seats

My bolts are fucking locked down cant get em off with a ratchet and that pipe you disconnect from angles up so I'm gonna have to just end up cutting in front of the rear axle and adding something from there.

don't drive it too much without a turn down, the exhaust shoots up under the rear seats and heats it up! VT life!

Jus a pipe that points the exhaust down to the road. If you remove the muffler, the exhaust pipe points upwards into the underside of the rear seats and they get hot

it does not..you don't need a muffler on a turbo car the turbo is the muffler the noise you hear in most cases is the wastegate

I liked just swapping the bolts. Open exhaust no mods. Like the new ones Same thing justaua.l labor. It's put back the stock quick.
