Initially I thought the gold flash wing was going to be too gaudy. But it sits under the natural deer hair and blends perfectly. I mixed a little bit of ice dub with hair's ear for the body and it seems to work.Thanks for sharing the pattern. Can't wait to try it for the local brook trout here soon.

That looks like a killer, how do u fish it? Top dropper or sunk line?

Top Dropper normal;ly on a midge tip line, 3ft sink tip it will be on the top for a while but then will go under half way back if that makes sense ? so you get the best of both worlds in one cast :)
