I met him in Burlington,VT when I was a 60 year old busker.I had heard he was coming and knew David would walk down Church St. and sure enough,I looked up and he was walking right toward me. I stammered "David ..." and he said "What you got?".I fumbled my way through an original and he turned to his aide and said that I was to be given a back stage pass to his show with Graham Nash. It was an awesome show they put on. As far as I can tell,he became a man of great principals and high morals If there is another plane of existence where our souls land,...David is there ,no doubt. A master band leader!So real.He will never be forgotten. Just thinking about the music from the 60's on that we have because of David!!!!

Much as I enjoy the studio recordings, David has a habit of adding an extra depth to the tour performances that draws me in further. Guinevere remains one of his greatest songs and works so well in harmony with Lighthouse as well as his previous bands.

So love this new music! Been wondering about the tour in 1970. I had a ticket for CSN show (1st tour?) in Cleveland. The show was canceled and it was said you broke a finger. Somehow that sounded like a lame excuse! We were disappointed but got our tickets refunded. Wish I had that ticket now..... $5.00 concert ticket has little value to us now, but CSN ticket would go on my wall. Along with the set list from show I saw in Concord, NH with you and Graham. Nice! 💕💕💕

With this grouping and also his work with Snarky Puppy and his own band, it is no wonder that Mr. Crosby doesn't feel to concerned about the likelihood that CSN(Y) might never reunite. Good for him. He's moved on to fresher pastures and - frankly - much more interesting and compelling music.

I was looking at that guitar too. I looked it up and found a Wikipedia page on “Octave Twelve”: “An octave twelve is a type of 12-string guitar fitted with a short-scale neck (15.5inches) and a small solid body. It is tuned one octave higher than a standard guitar giving it the tonal range of a mandolin and enabling a guitarist to achieve a mandolin sound without learning mandolin fingering.” … so that’s my guess. RIP Croz p.s. the firs song I listened to when I heard the news was Almost Cut My Hair.
