Not necessarily. The upper number layers still rely on the performance and benefits of the lower layers. A good way to look at it is by studying the layers of ‘the OSI model’. Each layer has its own protocols with varying benefits depending on purpose and goals.

ETH… is a sinking ship! Much much faster and cheaper chains (SOL)! The ETH team jumped way too far down the rabbit hole while the competition blew right by at lightning speed!

SOL too centralized. Not real crypto. Good for making money only but I wouldn’t use it. At least Eth sticks to proper principles
