At the beginning that was the Moroccan map, and in the picture (before they blurred it) the map was incomplete as it didn't include the Moroccan Sahara (there's political disputes) which offended Moroccans. So the creators chose to blur it so as to be respectful. Hope this helps :)

This caught my attention. I am AA marred to an Algerian man. They are not loud and aggresive. They are the one country that had to fight the French for independence. What do mean by west Africans? For your information, the darkest people in Africa are not west Africans... they are mostly found in East and central Africa.. the Nilotic people of East Africa, the Dinka tribe of South Sudan, the IMO valley tribes. This are the darkest and most stereotypical African looks in Africa. West Africa is just sixteen countries out of 54 countries in Africa. The Tuaregs of west Africa, have light skin complexion than those in the Horn of Africa, the fulanis are also like the people of the Horn of Africa, so west Africa in itself is very diverse! By the way, central Africa is different from west Africa, moreover west Africans are not Bantus!!.. the Bantu speaking people are mostly found in East, central and Southern Africa !

14:40 the only reason why that is completely wrong, is because in all African countries there are differences like that, it's not just America where it's different from the north to the south and the east and west, all these countries mentioned in this video are different within themselves, and the difference dates thousands of years of history and culture unlike America. That's why we get triggered when you compare a contiennent to a country as if our countries don't have that difference within themselves....😅

Algeria is the best touristic region in the North of Africa, u get everything u want when visiting, history, modern, desert, mountains, plains, beaches, rocky desert, archeology, different ethnicities, different languages, different cultures......its just that algeria has the worst tourism infrastructure in Africa, its not a country for tourists, its more adventures on your own, u will find a lot of welcoming people its the Muslims tradition but if u r naive u will get easily robbed. Algerians don't live out of tourism like morocco ,Tunisia or Egypt,it's a rich country so tourism here is not developed as others countries. We aren't louder than egyptians or Moroccan but maybe they see us differently because of our politics, history and pride. We aren't the most beloved country in Africa but we take pride of our identity, our religion, our nationalism and it does make some countries listed here a bit annoyed 😏 (note that Algerians are the ones who visit their neighbours they don't go outside their country as we do )

I'll answer as a moroccan: we identify a bit with some western african countries like Mali and Senegal due to our common history. Not with others for the same exact reasons. The reason why you find this identification to the midlle-east is due to the "panarabist" idealology imposed on us after the independence in 1956, people watched a lot of music, songs, we had teachers from Egypt and Irak (to help teaching Arabic), so these are the reasons why you find such identification. Let's get back further in history, it was more mixed before the Sahara became... the Sahara, it was a fertile place. That happened more than 10000 years ago... it's a long time,eh. Now, let's be honest: if you come to Morocco, would you feel that you're in your "typical african country"? The answer is NO and you'll be right, it's because each area of the continent evolved differently. The dominant lighter skintone will magnify this in your eyes... it won't make Morocco less African nor your impressions false. Morocco has made a lot of efforts to strengthen the historical links with the mentioned above african countries and is deepening its ties to other west african countries, we're also less panarabist than before, the constitution has been changed to include the "saharo-hassani, amazigh (yes, even us natives weren't included yet almost all morocco is native, only a tiny minority comes from Arab tribes, that how bad the panarabist brainwashing was), arab and hebraic (jewish) roots of the country. We can either make efforts to get rid of old ideologies or stay camped between panarabist one one side, and afrocentrists, on the other sides, saying to each other that we're not ONE. It's up to you.

@@mounafouial5792 of course we don't but there's still some work to be done... there's always the spotlight put on us north africans but I've read horrors from afrocentrists claiming that we're not africans (too white to be africans or so it seems) and we're "invaders", they'll "chase us from Africa" (good luck with that).

There is a huge difference btwn Northern Africa and sub Saharan Africa. Northern Africans like to identify as Arabs and there is subtle discrimination Africans from sub Saharan Africa.

Nope. We Moroccan are natives Moroccan. WE DO NOT like or want to IDENTIFY WiTH ARAB. Arabism was brought to us in the mid 20th century, we have nothing to do with it.

i recommend this video:https: //kzbin.info/www/bejne/qIKmmHmrh6-Zras it's about why you shouldn't come to Algeria but instead ends up listing all the good reasons why you actually should (a bit clickbait-y but it works), feels like a good place to start reacting to some northern-African countries; first time on this channel, have a good one ! ps: i'm Algerian xoxo

Maybe I should watch the clip at a suitable time to judge fairly .. But from what I saw now I think that they should have brought other people in place of these .. I do not know what is wrong with them but it seems as they do not know anything about anything (as if they are immigrants in some country and they were brought at the last moment to talk about the country of their ancestors, which they had never set foot in🙃, especially the Libyan😵💫
