I like the steam cleaning. I have even bought a McCulloch steam cleaner and it is definitely worth its weight in gold. As for improving your videos, if you keep track of it, I would like to see a running stopwatch in the video or a breakdown of each category of the cleaning process. EXAMPLE: - 2.5 hours to clean seats - 1.25 hours to steam clean - 0.5 hours to clean tires

I agree too. This is the best cleaning channel on KZbin. Everything is well thougt through and not too much. I like the length of the video, the before and after comparison and the music with short, quick information. I dont have any ideas how to make it better. Just wondering sometimes what it costs to let a vehicle clean by you. Greetings from Germany

Regarding your question about why we keep coming to this channel is because the relaxation of watching something dirty get brought back to life. Altho in terms of cleaning, i would say the extracting the most satisfying part. Especially carpet/upholstery as bad as this one. Pure joy

What do I enjoy about your videos? Let me count. Detail Geek is one of the best detailing channels available. I like seeing the transformation. Dirty carpets to clean, stained seats clean. Nasty cup holders that you pick coffee layered napkins from the holder. There's a transformation. The before after shots need one more thing. Before, after, and before again. 👍 This truck drywall workers truck. Although very dirty, drywall cleans easily with soap and water. I did drywall finishing for 15yrs and never got myself or my vehicle that dirty. AWESOME CHANNEL!!

On a minor note, I like the new fade transitions between before and after shots. I also like that you’re mixing video sound into the music rather than just music. Probably more work in editing, but little things like these make for a better video.

I cannot agree more - in fact I would suggest toning the music down by 70% and adding in natural sounds. I understand that would sound weird on the time-lapse bits, but that's okay. Also, I would like to hear some of your own music instead of the typical.

My favorite cleaning parts are the extraction and steamer. Nothing amazes me more then seeing the carpets, and plastics shine like new again. The vacuuming and trash removal are nice too, but I can do that when I detail a car. The Mighty and steamer combo though, that's when the video goes from superior to professional. 14 HOURS of hard work for this detail and it shows. This truck was beaten for 20 years it seems. You sure made the exterior look better, but the majority of the work was the interior. I suspect the previous owner had a kid drop the BB pistol at some point, but wholly inappropriate to not clean that out of the truck. The seats and the carpet cleaned up extremely well. The thing I appreciate the most in these videos is the amount of knowledge you provide based on your experience. I have learned a LOT how to clean a car efficiently and effectively from YOU! When I watch your videos from years ago when you first started, they are good, but not as polished and professionally done as now. You have learned a lot about video and mixing. Sure I miss the old days of shorts and t shirts, but you have developed so much. Your consistency of production and professionalism have kept me here. I can't criticize any of your work since I have gained so much knowledge from it. Thanks for everything you do for us. Have a great weekend Mitch!! 💜

As much as I love each step of the process, for me it’s your consistency in creating calming and entertaining videos. I know what I’m getting. The music will be positive sounding while also calm, your voice is gentle and not jarring, it’s almost never interrupted with ads or extraneous stuff, and the satisfaction factor is always an 11/10. I love watching your videos. I'm a lifelong car enthusiast and worked as a detailer for a dealership during college, so these transformations take me back. It's always amazing what a little chemistry and a lot of elbow grease can do for a neglected car. I love how you do the before/after pics and flyover with the snazzy music at the end. You've built quite the empire with your business, and it's been fun to watch! Nice work!

WOW! Absolutely phenomenal!! As for your questions. You are the only vehicle detailer I watch, the only one I've seen really. I come back for: 1. Your voice, it's very pleasant to hear. 2. The knowledge that you provide about the products you use is great. 3. The transformation of going from dirty to clean. I think this one just jumped to my #1 spot for interior clean. Seeing the cigarette tar being extracted was outstanding. It reminded me of my father's house. 4. The sounds of the equipment is great. 5. I cherish the real time segments. I would watch longer videos. What don't I like, the music. The music isn't bad, it's just that I like hearing the equipment. You see I have hearing sensitivity to some frequencies, so I have to turn down the volume or mute then I can't hear the sounds of the equipment. The quality of time and effort you put into every detail job is outstanding so keep up the great work!

I've experienced an extremely similar scenario first-hand. A 2008 Ford single-cab that was abused for a decade: 150,000 miles on the same brakes, three packs of cigarettes a day, and enough food debris that it was constantly being invaded by mice. The saddest part was that it was given as a graduation present and then treated like an old shoe.

The repetition of your routine is what keeps me coming back. Like learning a new job, you learn from doing repetitively, seeing how you deep clean, over and over.. not only do I learn from it, it brings order to chaos, which calms my brain. It's therapeutic. Other favorite channels are Clean With Barbie, Auri Katerina, Midwest Magic Cleaning, A Beautiful Mess.. I love cleaning other people's homes, and I'm familiar with hoarding, depression, and mental illness. Seeing chaos converted to order is one way I decompress.

The before and after photos, backstory is always good to hear, simple relatability of your cleaning methods, easy to use products, normal products as well (they do not cost a fortune). Hi Mitch. There has to be cases where a detailer can at least attempt to halt this kind of rust. Would it be compatible with detailing to brush on Rust Reformer for customers that aren't ready or don't want body and paint work? There's a reason I'm sure that detailers would or would not provide this interim step. I guess I'm just curious.😎 Nice truck and big improvement.

the one and only thing i dislike about your uploads is the music.......but especially the tracks with singing by "alvin and the chipmunks" or "pinky and perky" if your a Brit born in the 60's e.g. at 7:50 (everything else is top notch)....thanks for the quality vids

I will never understand smokers. My mom used to visit a chain smoking old lady weekly. She was the worst of example of chain smoking... Lighting one cigarette with the last and always had at least 2 cigarettes burning at one time. Anyway, one day she was serving black tar coffee but when she sat the tray down some splashed onto the wall. That splash mark was the cleanest spot in her kitchen. I think my mom stopped visiting after that.🤢

I have seen this a LOT up in my tri state area. (Iowa Illinois and Missouri) Road salt destroys so many cars. i mean i see even newer cars with the road grime and salt destroying the metal bodywork. usually its the wheelwells that go first obviously. i asked this older lady at my local Keaslings why she didnt put her stuff in the trunk? she showed me why. she opened the trunk and it was gone. Very nice job. you never cease to amaze at the quality of work you do. we enjoy your content. .

I'm originally from the upper midwest and I know just what it's like, the bolts holding my dad's license plates were rusted after the first winter and the bolts holding in the front seats in my mom's car were rusted after less than four months On top of all that, we bought both cars from the dealership new

I am so glad I came across your videos. I love making dirty things clean again. I look forward to washing the dishes after we eat dinner. These videos calm me down and put me in my happy place. Not only do they calm me down but you have the voice to match it. I have been home fighting cancer for a year now and these videos let me escape from thinking about it. Thank you so much for your hard work on these vehicles and for giving me a happy place to go to. Much love to you and your amazing videos. 💜

This is my first time watching you detail this truck...I found it fascinating and I think the most satisfying aspect of the cleaning is the extraction process! The before and after scenes are amazing. Both my father and late husband HAD to have clean trucks and cars to drive around in! Although it is not hereditary, my son and his girlfriend feel the same way!😃 I hope the owner appreciates all your hard work and that you are compensated nicely for all the "manpower" you showed in the video! Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to another video! 💖

There's a lot I love about your videos, but I think the thing that keeps me coming back the most is how you add personal touches to your videos. By that I mean that I appreciate your voiceovers with details about your process and your previous experience detailing, along with what you're thinking as you find crazy things, as well as your cool guitar outros. There are lots of channels that post "satisfying transformations", but many of them are impersonal and almost robotic, often either without voiceovers at all or just sharing the basics of their process and the products they use, which isn't very engaging or memorable to me. Yours, however, are definitely engaging and memorable because they're fun, educational, and seem personal to you. I don't know exactly how to describe it, but it's like your videos "have soul". And that's what keeps bringing me back. As far as what I'd change, I would make the before and after clips a couple seconds longer, so we can really soak in the difference. Other than that, 10/10.

what's best about your videos is everything imho. I think it's the combination of all the things you do be it rim cleaning, engine bay's, Pressure washing, extracting, steaming or finishing. one single thing is bound to get boring and here we have the full package every time. i love your videos and seen almost every one of it. keep up the good work.
