I’m trying this one out on Udemy, and was excited to see that you have a number of courses there. I had some questions, so decided to check your KZbin channel, and I see quite a few that should be helpful. I keep looking for a watercolor artist I like, and who fits my style. I love detail, and I put a lot of time into colored pencils because I had so much control. I’m thinking your style of painting might be for me!

This includes this Robin and all the parts, plus some other step-by-step paintings as well. devonartist.co.uk/free-membership-index/ CP's are a lovely medium and one I would like to get back into. I did play with some Prismacolors many years ago and loved the layering effects. But for me, it has to be watercolours, such a lovely medium to use. Paul 🎨

I haven’t used my colored pencils in years, and I have a huge collection! I got some beautiful results, but it’s very time consuming. I got into acrylic painting, which I still enjoy, but I’ve fallen in love with watercolor. There are lots of styles, and not everyone is as detailed as you are. This is much more controlled and detailed, and I guess that appeals to me. You are very generous. I looked at your website, and your pricing is reasonable. I just need to get into it again because summer is so busy, I don’t have enough time to paint on a regular basis. You also provide a lot of fantastic information here. I could watch for hours, but I’m also excited to see what I can do. (I also have a lot of paper, brushes and paints-so easy to keep buying supplies!)

@@annewatman677 Hi Anne, yes I love detail and achieving this in watercolour is good 'clean' fun as well. No smelly chemicals and less space needed (normally) on the painting table. Plus, working with various layers of simply coloured water is a good challenge as well. BTW, I currently have my annual membership on offer (30% OFF) just for this weekend (inc Monday). This I would class as an intermediate level Heather, but it can still be attempted. The washes are a good way to learn for a beginner and I do quite a lot of these within my video. Plus I demonstrate how to work with detail as well. Paul 🎨
