It used to be normal that dating partners met mainly through friends or some community they were part of. Because normal social structures have been largely destroyed, we're now being coached on how to cold-approach strangers all over the place.

💯 we need the old social structures back. In this day when society has unprecedented conflicting beliefs, at loggerheads, why would approaching a stranger be the advisable way to go? If I had a daughter I would not advise her to go with a stranger. She should be asking herself, why doesn't he have network ? And why hasn't he vetted me? This is not a sign of husband material. I only see players do this. Can you imagine women would not be able to walk anywhere if this was adopted society wide.

@@billwalton4571 I agree, we need those structures back, but it probably won't happen within our lifetimes. In my opinion (and this may be politically incorrect, but who cares), women were traditionally society's community organizers and social networkers, they're the ones who created those structures, and modern feminism told them to stop doing that, so they stopped. I am an introvert and a bit shy. My strategy is "Hey I am a bit shy, but I find you very attractive. Would be interested in getting to know me?" Not exact words, but it seems to work. "This what I am. It's your decision if I'm acceptable to you." They know that I can take rejection, that I'm not a creep, etc.

Rational male is good But don’t worry about it women don’t even know what they want. If you see one go and talk to her like you already know her. If she rejects, you simply turn your head and talk to the next one, don’t even miss a beat. Women are ridiculous ignore them and they’ll chase you, a while back. I had sciatica and was walking around a great deal of pain had a pissed off look on my face. I was amazed at how many women were attracted to that. Unbelievable

Really. It's when you catch woman's gaze, she holds it just long enough so that it's clear it's not accidental and then looks away. Typically, she wouldn't be facing you straight up. She would move her eyes to look at you and then move them away. It's difficult to put it into words but there is a sensual quality to the look. Warm, inviting. Slight smile. Potentially intensity, focus. And after she looks away, she might smile to herself or play with her hair. Indications that she is having pleasant thoughts. The longer she holds your gaze, the more intense it is. And women in general want to use as little as possible. Where I come from, we literally say that she is throwing a fishing line. It's an invitation. Very effective and very feminine way of doing things.

I find that most men are terrified to initiate that contact, and those few who will are often over-confident in their charms and off-putting. The few who succeed in initiating a genuine conversation are interesting because they have confidence but also aren't afraid to make fun of themselves in a playful way. It's all so complex. Agree. And the flip side is: If you do cold approach a woman, the vast majority of the time it goes nowhere. I think of it this way: I'm uninterested in most women, so assume women are uninterested in most men, myself included. I've found that having very low expectations does wonders for nerves/jitters. Granted, your head has to be in the right place; if you're depressed, insecure, down, etc. it can really break you.

@@Chud-mb7glbecause we complicate it by hanging on to rejections, and ego and become bitter, and think there’s more to it - there is attraction or no attraction. It’s not just looks for women either. Just talk to people initially like the unique human beings they are, not just as a sex object. If chemistry happens, it happens. Rejections are humbling and somehow can set the ego free. Women get rejected loads too. These podcasts are done because there’s a thirst for it, and you can make lots of money from it. But we’ve made it into fkn rocket science when it’s not.

Key is to find women/men that actually want to be picked up don’t forget lots of women/men are just out with friends for a few drinks or a dance and find it annoying to be constantly approached. This is NOT a rejection to the person itself but rather to the act as it isn’t wanted, not all are out to pick up, some of us are just having a good time not wanting to make an acquaintance. Eye contact is usually a dead giveaway if someone looks at you for a few seconds you know they’re interested.

More and more men have stopped cold approaching, its a complete waste of time. The average female wants to be in a relationship with a top 10-20% of man. The average man is satisfied to be in a relationship with an average woman. Women are naturally more picky and not as satisfied in current relationships due to hypergamy. The mistake is men are pursuing women who naturally have more options (young women) compared to most men 80-90%. Men need to stop pursuing females and focus on being a top 20% male all around and the options will be endless. The issue is, this comes back to haunt women since most top 20% of men have multiple options thus will most likely not be faithful in a standard monogamous relationship.

@TacoBella25 By that logic cold approaching is a dead end from the start, since 90% of men are functionally invisible to women. Combine this with the female tendency to not approach the men they are actually interested in, respectively NOT giving such clues/invitations like discussed in the video and it becomes virtually impossible for people to meet each other in the real world. You could limit yourself to dating apps of course. But even the mainstream is slowly realizing, that it made dating worse not better.

If you feel nothing or especially cold energy radiating from her, don't do it. Also, don't even bother cold approaching unless you're above an 8 in the looks department. You'll just waste your time (not always, but I'm generalizing here).
