My copy arrived just in time for my admission into hospital. I spent 3 days solid playing the game during surgery recovery and it kept me well entertained: the tactics you can bring to bear (no pun intended re the front cover) are superb. Recommended.

I just got my copy of this game and played a few rounds. I’m hooked! I love trick-taking games and solitaire, and this game delivers so well. I played the beginner version, and I watched Zee’s video a few times just to be sure I was playing correctly. There is so much to discover in this little box!

This is such a great game! So glad to finally have my copy I don't think Zee mentioned this but this game is actually based on a game called The Emissary which is a game you can play with a normal 52 card deck

Yes, by the same designer. I played that game when he first posted it, and then added it to his amazing set of free card games called Isaludo. Then I followed the discussion as he tweaked the rules and finally published For Northwood! I'm so glad to see him making a success of it. The Emissary orginally took its inspiration from a Decktet game called Gongor Whist, which has long been a favorite of mine.

Wow . I played Eck which is also a SOLO trick taking, which felt a bit rigid. but here introducing the random powers of the kings, this game looks mad fun !

I have a serious complaint against game designers that believe everyone is right-handed and do not put the numbers in the top right corner too for us left-handed people that fan our hand of cards the opposite way :’(

I could easily see this rethemed to Marvel or any other big IP, but especially Marvel. You're Fury trying to convince heroes to join the Avengers. Tired of Marvel? Me too but i would like this one with that theme I think.
