Thanks for the review, Mike! We did try to make Caesar less procedural-feeling than Blitzkrieg, so appreciate you noticed that. :) And I was indeed intending that the human player needs to anticipate what the bot is trying to do and so has to intentionally work against it. Made it feel much more interactive.

Thank you for your review of the solo mode. It is often difficult to tell if the solo mode is just an afterthought to the multiplayer version so your input and recommendation were very helpful.

Thanks for the review, Mike; we have similar tastes in games (especially solo); I was hesitant about this (I'm getting Blitzkrieg soon) but I think you've pushed me in the right direction: I'm buying! :D

I find Tetrarchia pretty more interesting than Caesar!

Thought the game board would look better....rather full tell the truth ! I think I will skip buying ....pity, I play solo and only solo. Thanks.

Isn't this crazy? All games now have an artificial puzzle mode (solo or "coop") Do you imagine a solo mode for chess??? Not software, i mean a board game, solo This makes no sense! The worst part is that all of us are PAYING for those components!

No… the worst part is solo only players like me having to pay for 2-8 players worth of components in games where they will never be used. I’m thrilled when designers come up with interesting AI to play against.
