Tabletop led me to a great Paranoia gameplay and ultimately Critical Role. My friends won't play Betrayal, my copy was stolen from my car, along with many games, and I haven't replaced it.

New edition more inclusive with minority characters is the obvious change. I like less tokens so it seems a bit more streamlined.

I have worked at an International School for years now, so I have had to learn this, and yes you are correct it is pronounced "wen" and not "nue", I was about to type the same thing and then I saw your comment ;-)

nice video.. really enjoyed it! only thing I wanna mention (not sure if it was caught previously).. weapons can't be used in defense (like plus 1 with machete or whatever it was).. it's only when you "attack" on your active turn, you can use its benefits. 😊

I remember in 2nd edition I needed to exercise the house from the basement up. The basement was consumed in 1 turn and we couldn't exercise enough spaces to win anymore

Yeah, it really made me think of tabletop. I love the audio ambiance and the addition of text for rules specifications, but I never liked the interviews in between, they tend to take me out of the game and ruin the rhythm for me.

The funny thing is.. this more "formally" produced effort(Go Roy?) is a more personal format than improv. Go figure? This is a winning format and one WW can't patent, but he would be one of the best guests, I think we would have to admit. This is inviting and would be great to see the talent that passes by play in this welcoming format. Great stuff DT!

I did like the concept, but was a bit overproduced imo, which is good for you I guess, less editing requested. If you're going to have background music, please make it quieter. Stopped watching at 12:13. Will try again on the next one.

Nice editing! Though lighting needs more work. Here the light is extremely even, making the whole video very bland in colors. None of the people nor the game pops-up. All in all, proper lighting is what separates dice tower from high-end production videos.

Did movement change in 3e? Pretty sure(in previous editions) you continue moving and opening rooms until you have to draw a card, or script on a tile says you have to stop moving. Just curious if it's changed.

I think this edition removes all the rooms where nothing happens. If that is true, then every discovered room will end your movement. One thing that didn't change is that weapons still only grant bonuses when attacking. You don't get to add to your roll when defending against an attack.
