Runewars Review - with André Nordstrand

It is nice to see a positive review from Dice Tower for this gem of a game. I believe I enjoy playing Runewars more than any other 'Terinoth' game, (Descent, BattleLore, etc.). I like the other games in this series, but there is something about Runewars that is just right for me. Thanks for this review of a game that deserves more positive attention.

+winterplum I can't put this above BattleLore 2nd edition, but I do like it a lot. I was kind of hoping Tom would give this a positive review, so I had to make things "right".

pro tip : you can watch series on flixzone. I've been using them for watching lots of of movies during the lockdown.

I tryed this game yesterday in a 2 players match. My first impression was that it's cool! Surelly, I'll play it again.

I have this game and it's expansion. Great review. I have played it numerous times and it just keeps getting better. I do like the battle cards instead of dice, nobody rolls them across the board scattering the poor defenseless units. The game is always different and fun.

what do u think whats the better game Runewars or Runebound ?

They do not have much in common apart from the setting. Runebound is a game where you go on adventures while Runewars is a conquest game with many things going on. I think Runewars is a better game, but it's also heavier and longer.
