Around 6:20 Tom starts to speak faster, and for a moment, I felt like the whole thing was a joke, like he was piling rules upon rules in some kind of sketch about board games.

In this kind of Euro, for me having the 5 player option is just to provide an alternative color for players. Same if an expansion has a 5th or 6th player. More player colors. Yay

I don’t bother playing a game with 3 or less players. Games are social things. So when Tom says he will only play it with 2 or 3 players then it’s worthless to me.

Same for me, it's sad when a game looks amazing and then they mention it's only three players or less, such a let down, I need it to be good at four at least, otherwise it'll probably almost never get played.
