Great video. Question where do you source your def connections? The gauge and pipe are all general have a harder time finding the def fittings. Thanks.

It's been a while so I'm not 100% certain but these may have come from unused inlet fittings from Detroit's "RS Supply Kit". Or possibly removed from old pumps. I also seem to remember that the fittings are not pipe thread and did not thread into that T-Fitting very well. With lots of sealant and a nice tight cross threading though, they're holding well!

Hi, thanks for the great video. I have 4334 fmi 18 code on my dashboard. What would be your recommendations?

A manual pressure tester is a very good idea to confirm if the internal sensor is at fault or not.

Have you ever had a Spm 4334 Fmi 4, Def low pressure sensor circuit low? It's a DD15 and Detroit says check the electrical connection and if its good to replace the def dozer. I'd appreciate your thoughts on this.

Sounds like someone really wanted to sell you a Doser.. That is nowhere near Detroit's recommendations for that fault. (I'm assuming you're speaking of at least a 2013-2014/GHG14 engine if you're referring to it as a Doser.) There is no way I would shotgun a Doser at something after nothing but a quick look at a connector. 4334-4 is a circuit code (It even has the word "Circuit" in it's description). It's very unlikely that the pressure sensor is internally shorted within the Doser. 3 wires are involved with the operation of the pressure sensor. I'm willing to bet 1 of them is shorted to ground. If this is the only code you're dealing with, it's most likely the signal wire which is pin #8 in the 8-pin connector on the Doser (#5 is the 5V supply and #7 is the sensor ground). Re-watch from 2:07 to 2:23 in this video. There's a good chance you'll find your answer there. Good luck.

I currently have 4364/17. 2019 cascadia What do you think is the problem ? I have dpf clean, both inlet and outlet nox sensor, do you think it’s the Def doser or Def injector ? Thank you

I figured they would. I've also ran into a couple with low pressure issues recently.

NOT useful for the average Joe that does NOT have the scanner nor the special gauge.
