Mikal Bridges is one of my favorite players in the 2018 NBA Draft. He’s a 6’7” 210 pound wing from Malvern, Pennsylvania, and he’s slowly but steadily developed at Villanova University under Jay Wright for the last four years. He’s a relentless, tenacious athlete with a high positional intelligence, and a 7’2” wingspan.

After seeing Bridges play in person against Butler here in Indianapolis, he immediately jumped off the table as a raw talent with elite potential. He's one of those players that stands out in a gym passing the eye test with flying colors. If he bulks up similar to how Giannis did, he will be a unique talent with potential All-Star ability. It'll be hard to reach an All-Star team in Phoenix, but 3-4 years down the road, expect big things from Bridges.

Agree 100% with your analysis. If he gets stronger, improves his handles and improves at creating his own shot I think that he can be an all star level player. But he has a high floor even if he doesn't develop those things because of his shooting and defense. I could see him in being a Harrison Barnes type. He might not carry a team but he can be a very good complimentary piece on a great team.

This dude can fit in anywhere, although I hope he goes to the Cavs, he’d be a wonderful fit alongside bron, seeing that he stays. His defense is so versatile, I do have some questions about his offense though. Not sure how quick he is laterally, which may limit his ability to get to the bucket. His shooting has some questions in it as well, his mechanics are very good, but he dips very low which may cause issues at the next level. His body is very questionable as well for a 22 year old. He definitely has some work to do there. He could be one of those top 10 picks that will be a solid to great roll player for the majority of his career. Overall I love the the dude, seems like a good guy, and wish him the best in his NBA career

Great assessment of Bridges. I hope the 76ers draft him and his teammate DiVincenzo. They're both the type of players that make good teams great and on Rookie contracts allow them to go out and get stars (eh em, LeBron James) while providing strong role players for cheap.
