Im seeing a lot of negaitve reviews on Newegg specifically for the Asus model. Most common of them note black screen issues and difficulty updating firmware. Not to mention Asus's terrible track record in the customer care department. Have you considered these issues in your ranking? My mind is tellin' me no but my body is tellin' me yes.

I never saw any issues. As far as I’m aware the firmware does not need any further updates. ASUS has probably moved on to other products now that performance and reliability is satisfactory.

@budman6137Ай бұрын
It had some issues when it first released. Mainly with no Dolby vision and the HDR had a bug. They've since fixed those 2 issues. I believe the update was in July. So to get an accurate view of it looks to reviews since July. I've been following this monitor for a long time. I almost bought one at release but thankfully had some financial issues come up. The issues sucked but it's now saving me a few hundred bucks plus I didn't have to deal with the launch issues

@ it’s glossy with an anti-reflective treatment, doesn’t effect the quality of the image if you view it in a dim or dark room
@Night_Hawk_47526 күн бұрын
@@AverageWatched An "anti reflective treatment" works by coating the screen in something that diffuses light in all different directions randomly, it's a mix of materials with different refractive indexes. This is functionally the same as how a matte coating works, just toned down to a lesser extent, hence the name "semi gloss". Both just scatter light - that's the only way to prevent pronounced reflection/glare. Renaming it with buzzwords doesn't change the fact that it's functionally the same thing. UCDM is "more glossy", but it's not a true gloss, and even ASUS doesn't pretend it is - as I said they don't label it as glossy on their site, and their official amazon listing explicitly says it's a type of matte finish still.

Having 1440p 360hz on the right side, 4k 140hz on the left side and I'm barely using the Samsung to read anything, it has nothing to do with crispness, don't get fooled. Its nowhere close to LCDs. Really irritates me that these Reviewers don't talk about "Text Clarity" in each of these Reviews. It's a MAJOR problem with these monitors, and they generally don't talk about it.

cheapest in my country would be 950 USD 1440p oleds would be 600USD maybe next year :/ right now i would at most get a 1440p IPS mini LED but even those are over 350 USD nope, wont pay that for a monitor that is not even that much better. if i had to buy a new one, maybe

Regarding last monitor review You are a bit wrong as all 7900XT cards support DP2.1 UHBR. Otherwise those monitors would not be in the market. Do a bit more research.
@angryarni640025 күн бұрын
Actually you’re still wrong the newest amd gaming cards only support up to 55gbs of transfer speed and for dp 2.1 u need 80gbs so actually 0 cards intended for gaming support there’s only a work station card that currently has it

I bought myself the Alienware AW3225QF 32 4k QD OLED monitor. I like it. it goes well with my Alienware setup. I use it with my pc and Xbox Series X.
@hydrus5252Ай бұрын
oled are good but mini led cost nothing now xD so 250euro for a mini led or 550+ ( in europe there is oled monitor for cheaper than the one u show ) for oled that might die with burn in if you don't pay so much attention to it. obv oled are faster and better for sure but also still expensive and the fact they might just die on you with burn in is unconciveable for me at ANY price point. btw i'm talking about 2k 240hz and not 4k but same shit just different price points.

Sir, I trust your advice and I have a question. Is it safe for me to overclock my lg c3 to 144hrz at 1440 p it will accept the setting, but is it safe?

It won’t work.

@@thedisplayguy Ok, when I changed the resolution settings in gpu control panel it did take and in windows in display setting 144 is a option now that you can enable, Is that just not true?
