was debating between a 240hz OLED or a 360hz version of the same model for 100$ more. I've never experienced anything faster than my 144hz monitor, but from what I've heard, the difference between 240 and 360 is quite small and probably not worth the extra money.

I really wish they would reduce that curve to around 900-1000R. It will still be immersive, but it will likely make it a bit more functional for other activities, such as general web browsing, work and even reading with the higher PPI due to the higher resolution.

My monitor broke so I had to get a new monitor. $300 later, uhh... this thing is awful. The bloom and uneven image whenever I use anything other than fullscreen content like games or movies is awful. It has 300 something dimming zones so I guess I should've expected this. I think I'll return it and either just... wait... or get a $500 oled thats on sale.

I would’ve gotten the qm7 if it had a 43-48” model. Chose the OLED b4 instead for budget/entry lvl and satisfied. 48” was $599 at Best Buy. I just wish some of the settings weren’t locked on PC mode

I have a 4090 & the 165HZ MSI. I got a monitor arm for free with it as well. The only type of games that run this monitor at 165, FPS. Not many games running maxxed with PT & RT hitting even 120hz. Save yourself some money & grab it if you can find it at $700.

I cant agree iv had my PG32UCDM for a few months now and its superb in gaming and movies. vibrant colours and bright enough. if yours isn't then you haven't changed anything, you need to adjust the monitor using the hdr tool I don't even use the brightest option I swap from hdmi 2.1 hdr10 to dolby vision , the dolby option is brighter and maybe more vivid? but I find I keep it on hdr 10 mainly. The dp option is nonsense. basically in true black hdr10, its the all-round option and if you find it too dark then you haven't changed anything. I have mine set on 1000 nits and 70 in brightness and it kicks ass. some people have not even changed to the 'full dynamic range' rgb and12bit I mean you have to do this at the bare minimum u have to adjust to your taste mine is coming from a very bright screen to this and I had to change it to suit and it blows anything away right now PG32UCDM is the best option imo.

There are some light superficial scratches on my QD-OLED screen, and frankly they are not visible to the eye no matter what you do, even if you bring your eye closer to the screen, but you can see them after you use your phone's flashlight. In general, I am looking for a product that removes these light scratches.

Btw, if you'd like an even greater disparity, QD OLED monitors get to around 400 nits in your BG3 comparison...modded QD-OLED S95C, D or S90C, D depending on panel lottery gets to around 2700 nits in that scene. Talk about hardcaps on monitors... The time is coming, MAX OLED will be introduced to QD-OLED, TVs first will reach 8000-9000 nits in 10% window by exploiting MAX's capabilities. But I think monitors will remain hard capped because no reason in particular...
