Losing Bon, was the toughest for me, ACDC was on fire by 79’ with Highway To Hell released, i was pissed for the next 2 yrs & took a lot to except Brian as the new guy. The energy that band had with original lineup can still be felt to this day… RIP all…

They were right at the edge of the cliff, poised to really take off. It's a testament to how good they were with Bon that most people will list one of those album as their favorite. Once you get past Back in Black, it's rare to name an album after that as you're all time favorite from AC/DC. Rest in Peace, Bon
@gabooda23805 ай бұрын
I never listened to AcDc after back in black. Saw the real AcDc in Illinois on the highway to hell tour. Bon had so much more depth to his vocals. Brian Johnson was the same mono tone vocals. To this day I only listen to the raw rock AcDc produced with Bon Scott Ride On

@TheGoldenAgeofHardRock7 ай бұрын
RIOT has been decimated, same with UFO 🤘
@michaelscott16584 ай бұрын
Mark Reale formed RIOT in 1975! How many bands were there back then that were playing music anywhere close to what this band was doing at that time? Mark was truly a visionary whose band & music were WAY ahead of the times - the style of hard rock that RIOT recorded on their 1st 2 LPs Rock City released in 1977 & Narita released in 1979 eventually morphed into heavy metal in 1981 with the release of Fire Down Under, the last album to feature Guy Speranza on lead vocals. The type of hard hitting rock music RIOT were recording in the mid to late 70s didn't really begin to achieve widespread popularity until the early 1980s. In the 70s it was nearly a non-existent genre of music that very few bands were playing and there would be a TON of touring dues to pay for the ones that were attempting to gain success pretty much by word of mouth since there were also very few radio stations that would be playing any new releases of this musical style in the 1970s!
