My take on it is the NY New Jersey area had alot of environmental damage over the years from industrialists "raping"the land and exploiting its resources. They also didn't clean it up and the factories going back a century or more were pollutants as well. Because of this there is alot of toxic earth, air and water in the area of the Ramones houses coupled with them rehearsing in dirty, dark and dank basements, playing in the same kind of clubs etc and there you go, a hotbed of cancer in the area.

Bon passed from asphyxiation. He was sleeping on his back in his mate's car and vomited while passed out. Intoxication was the reason it happened but asphyxiation was the cause of death. Still very well put together and an excellent show of respect for the fallen.
