A tip for making sure you don’t glue the zipper together, rub Vaseline on the zipper. Do it while it is open then open and close a few times to make sure it is thru all the teeth. That way if you do get glue on the zipper it won’t stick.

I noticed that the rotary cutter you use is about a 45 mm model, for those tight corners you can get a smaller one that will make cutting the curves much easier. For the trimming stage, i found that for any similar kind of trimming, a cheap pair of nail scissors works like a charm, they are sharp, with a sharp pointy tip and can be gotten in anywhere. Sounds crazy, i know, but from experience i know they work well.

I just stumbled upon your videos and I love them!! Subscribed! There's a trick you may like to make boot covers that's more accurate than paper. In the cosplay community, people sometimes cover shoes (or whatever else) in saran wrap, then cover in masking tape. You then draw on the pattern and cut it off. Perfectly fitting pattern!

If you want to try this on a pair of pumps or flats and there is no front seam any suggestions for making a pattern to cut the fabric? Maybe you can do a video showing how to cover flats or pumps. absolutely. I will come up with one. Someone did suggest using plastic wrap. You wrap and wrap and wrap. Then cut off the excess with an exacto knife so its just covering the shoe. Then cut it off and you can use that as a pattern

While gluing and stretching the fabric, do you think it would help to firmly stuff the boot with balls of newspaper or something similar to help "form" the boot while you're working with it? Love your videos! Your ideas and DIY's are fantastic.
