When I use existing pants to create a pattern, I always turn them inside out to allow for the seam allowence. I also make sure that, if I'm going to make out of stretch, the pant I use is stretch and woven for woven. It solves the problem of getting the right size.

I never thought of wearing the tights underneath! Great idea! Honestly then one can swap those for the fleece-lined leggings as well, and booties and wear them in the midst of Winter! Fabulous 😅👌🏼

Love it. Totally my thing. I like this solution much better, than an attached lining. And it's more 'wearable' for me and my lifestyle than rhinestones and feathers, honestly 😅. Not, that I don't liks those...I do...but this is something I could actually make and wear for a partie around the holidays. And girl, I get you as far as the emotional upset is concerned. I started crying walking down the street last week...right out in public with loads of people around me. I was actually listening to something rather sweet and sentimental...but all the sorrow and upset just came bursting right out. Sending out virtual hugs to anyone, who wants and needs them!

We love you but i am sure you dont see yourself the same as we do. Very few people do. Now, about the outfit!! I love your idea about the lining. I would like linings in several different colors for different holidays! Just solid colors. On the other hand, if i liked my legs better i would always wear them bare-legged. Thanks for those super clear explanations! It took me quite a while to figure out how to replicate trousers, I wish I had followed your tuto before 😉 Maybe it is a good idea to cut the lining a little shorter than the lace trousers at the top so that it is not too bulky on the waist. I also appreciate the fact that 'nude' does not mean light-coloured for you.
