Would you please pin your comment linking the PRODUCT you braved about through this video? I was excited to search for & purchase these ASAP for a trip that is only days away, but no product name or packaging picture was shared & I’ve spent a lot of time scrolling through the NUMEROUS comments to find what I need to BUY them. Maybe it would be easier if I were on a regular computer instead of a phone app but that’s how a lot of people view videos.

I love this as a big girl who is currently losing weight! It now means that I don’t have to update my wardrobe as quickly (i can just cinch) plus I still get to wear the clothes I love and save pennies for when I actually need to buy new stuff. Orly, you have made my whole day, week, month and year and I absolutely adore for that, great job 🎉❤😊

I did not want this video to end!!! My mind is exploding with ideas! My proportions are not very standard, I love hiding my tummy, and I like having my clothes be comfortable but also want them to look fitted. I am also already thinking of black, white, or cream matte nail polish for painting some of the pins so they visually disappear. The possibilities are endless! These could also work for the wrap pants that you showed us so we can easily go to the restroom without fighting with the ties!! This just might be the best video ever for no sew fun!
@Orly_Shani Жыл бұрын
Ohhh painting them!!! what a great idea!!!
@alys4570 Жыл бұрын
Just a little fyi: the pins can be a little bit of a challenge to get into place, through fabric, and sometimes the backs stick. I’d rather deal with fabric ties. Unless you’re only using the pins that come with 4 pins, two hooks, when put together, you have a clip situation.

So cute and clever! 11:25 Just be careful with satin, faux leather, and other shiny fabrics: a pin can leave a permanent hole.
@DawnDavidson Жыл бұрын
It is true that since these are pins, one must be careful not to damage certain fabrics, like silks, satins, leather, and suede. That said, I’ve installed permanent eyelets/grommets in a suede garment where I knew I would want to keep pinning something over and over (it was a Renaissance Scottish doublet for my husband, and he needed a spot to secure the end of his great-kilt to his shoulder! 😂). So I could imagine doing that on some jackets or pants, if you didn’t want to sew it in place. You could put the eyelets in a deliberate pattern for a different design detail whether you were pinning it or not, and maximum flexibility. :)

Nice! I can also imagine using these to anchor scarves, when you want something smaller and less noticeable than a statement pin, or when you’d like to anchor it in multiple places. As a short person, I can really see using these for the pants cuffing you showed. I also have used decorative pins a lot for pinning fronts of shirts closed (I’m busty), and the small and repetitive nature of these is great to make it look like a purposeful “design detail”. Since I’ve always been curvy, finding flowy jackets/sweaters that fit my hips and bust but still allow some shape at my waist is very difficult. Even more so, now that I’m a larger size, since most designers think that plus size gals all want to wear boxy tents (grrr). I’ve tried using the elastic clips, but I find that they will sometimes pop off, and getting them to stay in the right place is tough. With the pin-on versions, it might still take some time to get them in the right spot, but once there, they’d be less likely to pop off and require fixing mid-afternoon. And then there are the sleeve cuffs, which, again, being short and curvy, if they fit my upper arms and bust, the sleeves are often way too long, and I’m often pushing them up my arms. Which is sometime ok, but sometimes not, especially in winter. And of course, adding these to those “20 different ways to wear” piece of fabric / wrap pants / wrap skirts will expand the options even further! They’d be perfect to hold wrap pants closed in the fall and spring, for instance.

omg I'm so buying two of these buttons, since clothes usually fall off my waist but are tight on the bun, I struggle and since my arms are long and skinny, my shirts look too big, buttons, buttons, excellent video.
