Can I just say that I am so excited every time I get an alert that you've dropped another episode?! I learned so much from all of your DIY clothing hacks over the years, then went through withdrawl (LOL) when you stopped for what seemed like forever and now I feel like I got a second chance now that you are back and it is all so much more fun and I didn't think that was even possible! You are doing a lot and also being a great mom...your kids know you love them and are there for them even when you aren't physically there for every single thing. One day they will sit and watch all of these videos and they will gain a whole new perspective on these life moments. ❤

My job is a Visual Merchandiser. What you should do is take some time to sit down and plan your ideal set up in store. A flat lay mock up. That way stores can replicate that a closely as possible, and customers can visit different shops and quickly and easily identify what they want. Also, it means you get your creative vision of how it should look even though you don’t have to physically be there. It also gives you some idea of how many items each store can display at one time, and then work out how many they need to have in reserves to keep their stock supply on floor at a decent capacity (so the store staff doing ring you freaking out needing more supplies immediately and it’s not a big stress on your part to get it to them asap). You can then monitor sales vs stock supply and just send them stock ups seamlessly. You also need to think about imaging and branding, as that makes a large impact on catching the customers eye, and setting your products out from the rest. I hope that makes sense how I described it, but it would make everything run a lot more smoothly. Congratulations on getting your product into stores!

I am so happy for you. It’s so funny because I remember you tie dying this shirt you’re wearing. And the fact that you’re wearing it with your necklace is so cool. I also remember your course about finding your personal style. And it’s so interesting because Rocknot seems like a mixture of all the things you brought to your videos. Wearable, able to use in multiple ways, has some pizzazz, and you can style it to your own style. It’s so cool because all of the things you have taught along the way are the epitome of how you describe Rocknot. And those set ups in the stores are just gorgeous. And actually elevates their outfits and other clothing. I think a Rocknot strap is something that will take you through your whole life. It’s a purchase that doesn’t have you locked in to one color or one style. You could use it with what you have or you can buy something from the line to go with it. I think that’s why it sells. And your price points are still affordable for something that gets so many uses. Again, if you look at all your videos, Rocknot is the envitable outcome of all your hard work. So please try not to be so hard on yourself because you are exactly where you’re supposed to be. Best wishes to you.

In the last video you talked about needing to take your video shots outside, and I mentioned that if you have the right light and you can do it inside. The video footage from the store where you have all of the straps hanging on those hooks, that’s a perfect example of how you can showcase the sparkle inside with the right lighting. Just get some halogens or some warm LED lights inside your studio so you don’t have to be out in the blinding sun taking pictures all the time.
