Saw this when it happened 7 years ago. It just came up in my suggesteds again. STILL brought me to tears. I'm so grateful to the humans who look out for the animals trapped by floods, tornadoes, fires, etc. As a horse person, this situation is one of my worst nightmares. I'm glad someone who clearly knows horses was there to help. I grieve for all those lost because help came too late. Ok. I'm gonna go donate to Horse Plus Humane Society again. ❤🩹

Bless those rescuers. I've seen such an outpouring of love for family pets but remember this is Texas. There are thousands of farm animals around the flooded areas. So great to see rescuers are willing to help them out. So many people are out there helping everyone and everything they can. God Bless them and Texas! We'll get through this mess thanks to folks like these.

Hallelujah! What an inspiring story! My heart breaks thinking of all the animals that were deserted by their folks. I cannot understand how ANYBODY could leave their animals behind…this horse appears to be very well taken care of, and has a lot of meat on her bones! I am so thankful that she was rescued, because I know that there are many who were not, and it breaks my heart...

Animal lover I could never live with myself if I ever abandoned one of my animals, let alone any other animals. If I ever see an unaccompanied dog wherever I am and whatever I am doing, I always pull over! I fail to comprehend somebody abandoning an animal. There's something wrong with the person's heart that would enable them to be able to do such a despicable actions. Animals trust us, and depend on us to care for them in the healthiest and most wholesome way possible! It is the betrayal of that animals trust to abandon them, regardless of whether a hurricane is on its way or not! People had enough warning, and out of love for their animal should have prepared contingencies for situations such as this! My heart breaks for these poor animals! Thank you for sharing, animal lover! God bless you richly!

Carolyn......there you are. I have been trying to find you. I left a comment this morning from yesterday. I hope you can find it. Now, how have you been my dear friend. I have missed our corresponding like we used to do, but enjoy with all my heart your company when we do get to talk. This critter here looked scared and didn't want to move. Thank goodness for these guys that risk their own lives to help the helpless. Carolyn please take care of yourself. I got real worried when you said you didn't feel good and the heat was almost unbearable. Please Carolyn try to go maybe to WalMart and get a small window unit. They don't cost that much I don't think. I'm sorry Carolyn i'm going into an area that is none of my business. I just worry about you with your disability. You've never told me what that was. But if you need to talk, i'm here, just send me a notification on any video and I will find you. There is a lot of good people coming to say hello to you and that makes me proud. You are my friend Carolyn and I love you very much. I know that The Invisible, Peace and many others care for you also. There are some new ones too. 808steveA, Agnes T and Emmy 214 all seem real nice and are talking to you. I'm so glad the troll from last week has left, or so it appears. I had to step up and try to get him restrained and he started attacking me. That is what I wanted him to do. That got him off of my friends. Carolyn now i'm the one that is rambling on, so I will stop for now. But like I said if you need me just leave a comment and I will try to find you when I can.

DammitBoy I got no sleep last night due to black Sean attacking again. And then another individual which I suspect might be another alias of his, Ressa, was also insulting...there are almost 500 comments between the troll, myself, and two other ladies...Mistress, and Stella anon. It is on the video with Charlie the feral cat that licks feral kittens and mellows them out. I was actually shocked that the troll created 2 new avatar names last night, "Matthew Hardcock," and that changed to "Mistress of Stella anon." Another fella, claiming to be argosoldier from the Diane days, claims to now be "CH514." He kept telling the two ladies to quit engaging in the troll, and yet he never once said anything about the troll until many hours later. I'm done talking about it for now, but let me tell you that the anguish that I went through last night makes the kindness of your comment all the greater to my heart. I humbly thank you for the kindness you give me. And the support. And you have blessed me by mentioning other people who also make kind comments towards me. Your kind words go a long way in healing my hurting heart...I shall take the apostle Paul's advice, and I want you to know that I am sending my love with his words! Philippians chapter 4... "Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved." 4 "Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. 5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. 10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity. 11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. 12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. 14 Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction. I love you mightily, Dammit Boy! You uplift and bless this old lady!

Carolyn.....Please please don't engage with these people anymore. They are doing this just to get you upset. You told me last week to not talk to them so I quit and they moved on. I care deeply for you and don't like it when you are upset. Don't engage and they will eventually leave. Talk to the people that love you Carolyn, and there is a lot of them. Please don't get so far down that it may be tough coming out of it. I need you Carolyn please stay away from the evildoers and stick with The Invisible, Peace, Emmy 214 and 808steveA. These people are real nice and care for you. I must leave for now Carolyn I have work to do. But I will check back this afternoon to see if you are still ok. I will be here for you Carolyn so please be here for me and all of your friends. Bye for now my dear friend. Remember God loves you and so do I.

kelleydavis100 horses can't shed tears...
@Janadu7 жыл бұрын
Hello again, Emma Beth. They can shed "tears" if their eyes are irritated for some reason. Stop being such a Debbie Downer. Animals also experience emotions, not the way we do, but they do have emotions.
@emmafrappier63577 жыл бұрын
Janadu I do realise that horses have emotions as I do work with them and again I assumed people would understand that I meant emotional tears. Sorry I didn't clarify.
@kelleydavis1007 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry, I don't think any of you are horses and I don't think you know what this poor baby was feeling. She was clearly scared to death and probably quite grateful to have been rescued - so until I can speak directly to a horse I will choose to believe those were tears of relief and joy. Again, very sweet video, thank you to those men for rescuing her!!! ❤️
@emmafrappier63577 жыл бұрын
kelleydavis100 Yes I do believe that the horse was scared (and stressed) and you believe whatever you want but I think you should see this, "There are no documented cases of emotional tears being shed by any nonhuman animal, and though there are anecdotal reports of such tears in nonhuman animals, these report such tears in many non-aquatic animals. So it cannot be said to be a trait shared only by humans, aquatic animals, and Indian elephants." This is from a veterinarian website, again believe what you may but these are the facts.

Arinjay Pokhriyal yeah but many movie stars and musicians, sports celebrities with cash power are mobilising and DONATING plenty towards rescue relief, and you can bet that more of them will show up in the future to help rebuild areas struck by this tragedy. We need to recognize the goodness of heart, regardless of social status. In fact, people bitch about the rich but the American wealthy are the ones who MOST help financially towards those in need PERIOD. Be it in the fiscal incentive nature of the nation, be it out of humanitarian consciousness, or BOTH, we should all be thankful for that. ✌

Carolyn Nunes horses can't shed tears...
@carolynnunes39227 жыл бұрын
Emma Beth From a google search cut and paste: "All mammals can shed tears. Tears are usually shed in response to irritation to the eye or under the eyelid. ... If you're not able to find any thing and/or can't remove it, call your vet to come flush the eye and treat it. That said, I've seen horses cry from emotions.May 17, 2016" "Humans, if they spend enough time around horses, can even learn to understand and use some of that body language. ... Now back to more about your first question -- Do horses cry? Although they don't weep (at least I've never seen or heard of them shedding tears of sadness), they do express sorrow or mourning." "Humans are the only animals who shed tears during times of emotional distress. The reasons why have long been a mystery to science, but there are some fascinating ideas about how crying could be a survival technique for social creatures like ourselves." Draw your own conclusions...
