Yeah, they went above and beyond. Tried to get the professionals in but couldn't, so got it strong enough. Then figured out a way to quickly get it back to its mum so it could stay wild. Loved the pulley idea. I was wondering how they would manage that.

I'm impressed at the determination of Mama fox to get her baby back even after a little while had passed and her vengefulness at destroying the family's stuff when she realised her baby was still there and felt he was being held captive by the humans. You know that Softee's going to keep coming back to his humans' yard for visits and snacks, and later on, bring his own kits to visit. Because he'll always remember that when he was weak and frightened and trapped, they got him out, and nursed him back to health before getting him back to his mama. It's a safe place to him now, and always~

I love the fact that this is the same story in 2 different genres based on whose POV you take: For the mama fox it's an abduction thriller about a grieving mother desperate to rescue her child from kidnappers. For the humans it's a warm-hearted tale of rescuing a baby and trying to reunite it with its family.
