Mammals have similar brain wiring, so this is not surprising. I know neighbours cows really like (not all of them) music. If they would be checking it out for oddity reasons they wouldn't stay so long and start looking around while they listen. And advice from this man to keep music simple also helps, because to see paterns may not be so easy for some animals, so simpler music gives them more joy, and complicated music looses them because it starts to sound as just noise. Just think of some very complicated music from classic era. :)

Now, I don't know the exact science behind a plant based diet or vegan diet. But there are vitamins and minerals that we can easily gain from different meats without having to consume plants. We have a fox that visits our garden every night. She's Vixie, aged around 1 year old. She started coming to our garden last summer and we've been feeding her (enough to be healthy - its a strict policy to never over feed) ever since. My two cats wait by the back door every night to watch her (we have motion activated lights). We think she gave birth last week as she was definitely pregnant and vanished for a couple of days (she never does that). Appears she's given birth and is now in "hi, gimme all the food" mode to feed her cubs. We leave some eggs out for her to take back to the little ones. Really hope to see her bring her cubs in a couple of months. There's so much wildlife where I live in London. We have Parakeets too that live wild here. I think that animals can sense when they are safe with someone. My parents have a property on the edge of forested land and animals from the forest come up in their yard to eat what they leave out for them. When my parents are in their yard watering flowers or whatever they are doing, the wild animals just stay close to them and don’t run away. They know they are safe there and these humans won’t hurt them. They’ll be walking through their yard looking like Snow White with a crowd of forest creatures of all kinds around them like they are all friends. They’ll pour out birdseed on the ground and wild rabbits will hop right up to them as they pour, wild birds immediately fly down to them and everyone just starts eating at my parent’s feet like they aren’t even standing there 😂. They also toss out kitchen scraps and a family of foxes are there in the yard eating and the babies are playing there while my parents walk around doing their gardening.

In another life, that fox was a kind-hearted old fella living up in them hills, playing his banjo for his family just like you. Maybe some day a long time from now, if you're lucky, you'll find yourself following the sound of banjo playing, on some other hill. And you'll be that family's fox companion.

Sometimes I wonder if humans had encountered foxes sooner if they would've "self-domesticated" like cats did, given they fill similar ecological niches. At 1:45 Foxy stretches just like my cat and it got me thinking... Foxes were always my favorite wild animal since early childhood so maybe it's just a biased dream, but what a special experience to befriend a wild creature like Foxy.
@FinchDoodles2 жыл бұрын
It would be interesting. I have seen some to tune channels that have Foxes as a pet but mainly because they can’t live in the wild. They are beautiful but even kept as a pet they are wild animals at heart. Who knows if one day foxes will be domesticated, I highly doubt it but it is still beautiful to see relationships between human and foxes!
@yellow_sprouts2 жыл бұрын
Look up the Russian fox breeding experiements!experiments!! Its a study that now has the only source of domesticated foxes- since they would only let foxes who were friendly breed and its actually worked- I cant say for certain all the specifics since it's been a while since I've seen it buy its worth the read
@user-fc7kj2hv3w2 жыл бұрын
@@yellow_sprouts while they are very cool and interesting those foxes still aren't like cats and dogs yet. They are domestic but because they've only had a few decades of selective breeding they're not quite as domesticated as typical house pets. They're more like dingos then dogs.
@camerond76542 жыл бұрын
Idk why but I always think foxes are like a mix between a dog and a cat- they kinda have characteristics of both
@justsortahere99852 жыл бұрын
@@medexamtoolscom Cats also overhunt, they're invasive and harm the ecosystem. They've led to the extinction of multiple animals. I still love them. I understand you not liking foxes but I feel it's important to recognize they're still animals, they don't kill your chickens just for the fun of it and they don't do it to ruin your life or livelihood. They do it becuase of a prey drive like cats. Cats overhunt because they don't know when their next meal will be so their instincts tell them to hunt when they see and bury what they don't eat for later. They often don't this for places near humans becuase that instinct gets overtaken by the fear of the area being dangerous. It's the same for foxes. However there are animals that kill for fun, orcas, dolphins, and sea lions are three come to mind. Animals often adored and found adorable by most people, even though they do much, much worse than kill chickens.
