he was so obssessed with the "special" vampires with unique powers he wouldn't give up on the cullens unless absolutely necessary. there are aspects of the story I appreciate but over all the angsty teen drama with the century and a half vampire pretending to be a teenager is just plain creepy and poorly written. the worst part was the sparkling... a sparkle like sunlight on snow is one thing but the movies made them look like disco balls.... had it been different, bella been older, I may have enjoyed it more.

marcus' story is really sad as his lover was killed by aro behind his back. The reason for her death being that marcus was so in love with her that he stopped caring for aro's plans to gain control of the vampire world. After her death, marcus was really depressed and suicidal and to ensure marcus' loyalty to the volturi, aro uses Chelsea's power on him (she has the gift to influence the emotional ties between people, she only appears in the books). So you could say that he doesn't care for aro's plans but it's mainly bc he admires the love Edward and bella share as it remind him of what once was

@@Mohack88 when her shield was finally revealed it was a huge dome over her group. Alacks mist attack revealed its huge size and everyone gasped. Benjamin tells her well done. She realized that if Sam was inside her shield then even the wolves that weren't were protected because of how the pack members were mentally connected. She was also able to wrap her shield into a skin tight layer around everyone she wanted to.

The ending of the vision highlights the very nature of Aro. He’s power hungry, power trip consumed, and will do whatever he can to build up on it and preserve it. His reaction at :34 is a literally “life flashing” before his eyes. He knows that his side will ultimately prevail in numbers but it’s at the cost of the entire Volturi clan perishing with him. It’s not his confidants (Marcus and Cauis) he worries about…but himself. His own extinction is what ultimately turns him around. He knows that the Cullens and their allies will stand up and that they would rather choose death. It’s a stark contrast between him and them.

She helped her sister giving birth, took the baby out of the womb when her sister died (the baby was able to open his mother’s body himself) and just like Renesmee did with Bella (one can see it in the birthing scene), he bite Huilen right after he came out of the womb and made her immortal. It is described in the book, Huilen explains it herself. She went into the woods for the change due the pain and the baby waited for her to come back. Then she raised her as her own. Male half breeds are venomous, females are not. But it seems his mother was already dead when he came out.

I like how only 3 people know "What could have happened" and thats; Edward, Alice & Aro. I also like to think in the future where the Volturi loses, the Two witnesses that Alice brings are just standing at the edge of the woods watching the whole fight play out like "Should we jump in, or...............?" 😂 Also only Jasper, Carlisle & Seth (and a handful of wolves) died in that future, which to be honest aren't huge losses, compared to wiping out the entire Volturi (I know, the director confirmed that Edward and Bella were basically dead at the end of the vision as well, but I believe the wolves would step in and save them at the last second, cause they had basically already won). Also, with the Wolves numbers alone, they would BODY the Volturi, so they didn't stand a chance, and that's with untrained new young wolves, so if the Volturi come back to take out the Cullen clan, they would be facing a larger force of wolves, now matured and trained, along with the Cullen clan and their expanded force (cause once word got out that they drove off the Volturi last time, Vampires would flock to their side to help them).

From what I read up on, Nahuel was literally just born from his dying mother when he ended up biting Huilen, causing her Transformation. It would make sense as well, seeing as we recall after Renesmee's birth in Part 1 there's a moment she bites Bella before being taken away by Edward.
