So cool, miss you guys, and much respect to Mark for being with you on the journey.. I use this now in golf. I plug in, of course using elements of good form, and then as you say I'm already there as I swing.. I don't hit the ball, the ball just gets in the way. I'm less now then I was when I could do my 3 times a week time with you.. Wish I wasn't in Arizona and you in Florida Tom Ford

I know that i'm being too much of a bother and i'm sorry for it. It's just that you are a very good teacher and i'd like to hear what you have to say. It's about Fak Sao A.K.A. "Whisking Hand" Is it a real technique? Or is it some kind of misinterpretation of the forms? Or maybe is it that the move is generally done wrong? I ask these questions because Fak Sao *seems* to violate some Wing Chun conceps (at least the version of the move that i've seen the most). I see people throwing Fak Sao with the elbows out, which does happen in techniques like Bong Sao, but i do not know if it is correct to do it on this case, Fak Sao is also done with only the force from the arm, specificallt the elbow joint and not the whole body like Wing Chun (and most Chinese Martial arts) teaches. Is this correct? There's just so much that i do not understand about Wing Chun 😢 like, what in the world is a Gang Sao (Splitting hand) really? If it's just a down block then why is it called Splitting Hand? And if it's supposed to split your opponent's hands or points of energy then what is the High Gang Sao for? Because it really does not split anything...(?) Is the High Gang Sao a made up/misunderstood technique? Maybe it's just supposed to be a Fook/Fuk Sao, you know, any kind of control. Idk, i know about so many martial arts but some parts of Wing Chun (and other arts like Xing Yi Quan) still perplex me 😭😭

You don’t learn Wing Chun, you become Wing Chun. Instead of spending time online learning, dedicate yourself to becoming by doing the real work. It’s the only way anyone truly understands the limitless power of Wing Chun.

@@sifuadamwilliss i understand this, this is what i do with whatever i practice. But i believe that properly knowing the concepts is necessary for proper practice, of course, there will be situations where you break those rules and concepts in one way or the other, but at least you know them and you are not breaking them because you don't know better
