Connor Jones I totally agree with you! Metallica wanted to do more bluesier sounding songs when they wrote Load and Reload. Those two albums have a bunch of really great underrated songs on them. The people who hated those albums seem to forget that Metallica released Garage Inc after Reload, bringing back there more Thrashier sound. Then albums like Death Magnetic And Hardwired To Self Destruct where also a return to form. In the end you either like Metallica or you don’t, it’s that simple. For me personally I enjoyed all of there albums for different reasons and the people who keeping clamoring about how they sold-out just need to get over it because it’s extremely tiring hearing this debate for over 25 years now.

@@hdaaap WOW what a grand display of ignorance, but anything better wouldn't be expected from someone thinking this is a masterpiece. Obviously you can't comprehend the lyrics or Iron Maiden. Just because they're not crying about being "torn" because of their life doesn't make them worse. Steve Harris for example is a far better lyricist.

So on I wait my whole life time for you The more I search the more I need for you, The more I bless the more i need for you. I need to be "perfect" in the eyes of most who consider laws absolute, but i do drugs and i get drunk, so im outlaw torn, like selling drugs or being in jail! There's that woman or man, that special person waiting for you there, when youre at your worst. And I'm Torn! Hear Me! And if i close my mind in fear, please pry it open... and so on... You ever been there, you've been at your worst withe the most wonderful person there, whom you will never hurt like you do to yoursef, and you're torn too!

I tried to look up what the meaning behind this song was. Outlaw Of Torn is a book by Edgar Rice Burroughs one of my favorites and is about a Prince stolen and raised by a swordmaster in the ultimate vengeance to attack the monarch that insulted him. The Outlaw Torn is a book every 10 year old should read and I think this song is about that book and not anything else. The Outlaw torn could never show his face because his appearance was to recognizable. He rode the dust. So If you are wondering what this is about, I guarantee you that you should read that book and you will know. Every 9 yr old boy should read that book.
