Passed yesterday with 2minors on my second attempt Your line about "You should he focusing so hard you shouldn't have time to worry" got me through it My advice to anyone that's nervous, talk to yourself out loud and whenever the nerves kick in just focus on something on the road and you'll be fine

Passed my test yesterday at Bromley first attempt at with 2 minors. I hadn't driven around Bromley much before, so these videos really helped me. Just knowing that when we turned right instead of left at the end of the road I knew I was less likely to hit the 20mph Lewisham sections. Thank you Francis! One warning to drivers, there's no give-way marking at the Lidl carpark and some old bloke pulled straight out in front of me as I was heading back to the centre. As Francis said, do not start to relax once you are nearly back!

had to retun to say thanks after passing with 2 minors at bromley......just to encourage someone whos going to take their test youre in the right place, just remain as calm as you can practice you hill starts if manual... practice your reverse into bay... you can do it! lots of practice! videaos like this really helped me.

Excellent video. The distinction between Bromley & Lewisham speeds is great to point out (local resident and never really noticed) . One correction - when you turned left into Court Road, the A20 then the A205 you were in Greenwich. Lewisham restarts on A205 once you are past Woodyates Road. Brill. Thanks.

You definitely passed. I remember (years ago) when the examiner asked me to pull up on the left. I mounted the pavement BIG TIME, car made a loud noise plus it stalled….😂😩Needless to say I easily failed and i cried that day. Lol

What happens if at 8:12 you are in the lefthand lane and realise you need to be in the right to turn right? Can you stop and indicate and wait for someone to let you in, or do you have to carry on and turn left? Thank you

@22:34 You go through a crossing that has an Island with Pedestrians. I had seen your video earlier, but during my practice with the instructor, he mentioned that there is a 2023 amendment where the Priority at the Island is to the Pedestrians. So, in 2023, should you stop and give way to the Pedestrians? I've got my test scheduled for the 30th of March at Bromley (and I am not active on Instagram/Tiktok); I would love to be considered for a mock test. Cheers!

The 2023 change says give way to pedestrians at junctions except roundabouts. So this island wouldn't count because it's not a junction. Hope that helps!

Another one @ 18:56, you shifted to neutral while you were going a bit too fast. I do this all the time but my instructor says to avoid it and stay in gear as much as possible.

Hey Alexis! Thats probably a good thing. There's no point passing a test where you can't get a licence. You should get all the stupid things out the way so by the time you get to the real thing you absolutely ACE it! I look forward to hearing how you get on!!

Any advice I’m bringing my own car for my test, I know I need a mirror for the examiner but what proof do I need to bring that my car is insured to use for the test and the mot etc, my driving instructor isn’t being helpful

They probably want you to take their car for your test 😉. If you just bring a printout or have an email on your phone saying the car is insured that’ll be fine. They rarely ask for it! Also make sure your tyres are up to standard (1.6mm and no cuts/bulges) you don’t need proof of mot

Today is my test at Bromley, and I really need to pass or I'll lose my job. I've been driving for 18 years-on the opposite side of the road-and one year in the UK with my international licence. I failed two tests so far at West Wickham and Tolworth because of mirror observations. As a driver, I got used to looking at the mirrors with the side of my eyes, and it is so frustrating and distracting that I have to put on an act every time I'm turning or moving off.
