Thanks for sharing 👍. I have a pocket calendar I put my fuel usage in. I've got 1,300 on my 6.2l LT Trail Boss so far. Its been 15.4 MPG on mostly back road driving. We have a lot of uneven terrain in the Mt Foothills I live in. Interested to see how it does on the coastal Sandhills in a few weeks.

How has the new infotainment been for you? I’ve read some accounts of it being buggy and sometimes glitchy. Have you noticed anything like that?

It has been working great. I have had my truck for about 15 months and have only had a few problems. Twice wireless android auto refused to connect. My phone showed as connected through the connections app, but no android auto. When I plugged in the USB, it worked. Once the camera app would not load. When I shifted into reverse, it just showed a blank screen with a red circle with a line through it. When I clicked the camera app, it would show the cameras for a second and then go to the same blank screen. I basically always use wireless android auto and love it.

Hi, excuse for me for my ignorance. I just recently bought a 2022 Silverado 5.3 trail boss lt 3 days and I just saw when you open up the gas tank their is another capless gas cap to the right… do you know what that one is or used for ? Thank you !

i keep my 2016 chevy 4.3 it dose better they the new 2022 ones but the computer in the dash the radio & setting for power adder & close braking it was a chevy test truck for government like federal park department or BLM lucky i camp at a federal park the rangers helped me set up the computer & what to do to save my rear from wrecking it! the close braking it get close & stop or senses car close and brakes to a Stop or let you turn to safe area i have bad eyes and depth seeing! maybe the newer truck will do better when it breaks in more!

Do you have the 5.3L engine? If so, the fuel just needs to be rated 87 octane or higher and no more than 15% ethanol.

@@thedroesslers yes 5.3L, and the 87 is the regular unleaded here in texas I haven't seen anything lower than that, a least in my area.

Planning on ordering a LT Trail Boss this coming week. I currently have a '15 2500 HD 6.0 engine. It avg's 15 to 17. My trick is keeping not going over 65 mpg.! The 6.0 is a bored out 5.3. Keep the vids coming. Will certainly use them when I get mine in. Months from now !! Have a good day.

For LT Trail Boss fans. Just ordered a '22 yesterday. The price out for a '23 is $1100 more than the '22 for the same build. $1100 for what ? year change ? !!!

And let's not forget it went up $1500 between an early 22 and a late 22 at the half year split
