Just received the Avata and I was about to send it back as I couldn't figure out how to remove the battery from the drone. Watched several videos and they just quickly removed the battery like they had done a million times before (don't tell us how they are doing it). This is the first video that explained it. Thank you. The battery came right out and is on the charger. I subscribed! (only have a half dozen)

Another great video as always. I'm waiting for the Avata sold separately, here in Norway in mid September. There's a mode on the MC that people often forget to mention; the "cruisecontrol" mode. Only in Sports mode though. Fly at some speed and press the lock button once to activate. Deactivate by pressing lock button again. In "cruisecontrol" mode you don't need to press the accelerator, it's set by the lock button. This is a nice feature. I can't wait to get the Avata in my hands.

Thank you! I don't think cruise control mode is currently available on the Avata. I have been out and tried to do it but it didn't work. I think this is something that will be added in a future update.

Thanks for the introduction. however I have heard now a lot of, if you are intending to fly in manual mode, then you should not learn to fly normal or sport mode with the controller because you learn wrong habits. What is your opinion of that? So would not the best in that case to fly in normal or sport with the motion controller, and manual only with the other one? As the controller works in other sims too like in lift off, you have something to train with.

Also can you connect the goggles to a phone in wireless mode to view saved videos on the phone and stream media like KZbin and Netflix from the phone? Would be dope to watch such content in a vr oculus quest 2 type of way.

Excellent video for getting started setting up and flying the with the Avata. Over the past few days, I have been watching videos about the Avata and yesterday I decided that I would give buying one a pass as I was thinking that I didn’t want to go through another learning curve with another drone. I have three drones and the Avada appears to be more complicated to fly than my Air 2S, Mini 3 Pro and Mavic 3. However, after watching your video it does not seem all that complicated to fly so I have decided I’ll buy one when I return from vacation in three weeks. I learned yesterday that batteries will not be available until October, that is very disappointing, I also intend on buying the Fly More Kit and the DJI FPV remote controller 2. I I always enjoy your videos as they are very informative, thanks.

Thank you. It is slightly harder to fly than the Air 2S, Mini 3 Pro and manual mode takes some practice but you can train on the simulator so you are 100% prepared for your first flight. @@TheDroneCreative yes received the remote today and my combo has mysteriously gone missing via DHL, was due last week, I’ll now spend the next few days/weeks waiting for DJI to sort it out & hopefully replace it, clearly a temp driver has had it away, sign of the times nowadays I guess, very frustrating!!!!

Very informative video. By pointing the motion controller straight upward, we can move the drone up but the camera also points upward. Can we use the tilt button of the motion controller to move the camera downward while flying the drone 90 degree upward ....

Hey, turn on the goggles. Swipe left to right on the gesture pad to bring out the left menu. Select the fourth option down with the picture of the settings bolt. Select that and the next menu that comes out to the right go to the bottom option. Scroll down in that menu to the option above the last and you will be able to select English again here. Hope that helps!
