The writers for these entries may be members of the new Syndicate that we'll meet after the quest. I think it's implied that they're currently residing in the Void, or the dimension inside Albrecht's labs, which could explain how they know about the Operator given the ability to monitor alternate timelines or dimensions like Duviri. Also, this may be a bit of a crackshot, but to answer the enigma between Albrecht Entrati's pitiable state shortly after his first Void Jump and the man we see in Whispers in the Wall, what if the other Albrecht Entrati we see is like that of the Drifter? An alternate timeline version of them that experienced a different timeline/reality altogether? While it is mainly due to the Drifter not being introduced until WAY later in the story, I always found it interesting how we never see the Man in the Wall interact with the 'Drifter' the same way it did with the kid Operator until the end of the New War when he squeezes through, and even then he never goads us/talks to us/leads us to trails the same way it did to Kid Operator. An alternate timeline Albrecht would explain why he's older looking, uses more primitive technology, and appears more human compared to the Orokin-looking physique we see of him. It would also explain his interest in Duviri and the Drifter, and would have been a way for him to bypass the limitations to his body from his encounter with the Man in the Wall, though I still am not sure how Wally seems to possess him in 1999. Maybe there are 3 Albrechts. The one who made the first Void Jump, met Wally, and lost his sight and voice. The alternate reality one who instructed the new Syndicate to monitor the Void within his labs, constructed the Vessels, and programmed Loid with the Kalymos Sequence. And lastly, the Man in the Wall himself, who takes form in 1999 using his body as a template, much like how Wally takes on our form as well, marking 3 different 'Operators' (Kid, Drifter, Wally)

@@TheDsIEGE Though this might be incredibly inaccurate, it could be possible that the Albrecht we see in Whispers in the Wall/1999 may in fact be an Albrecht FROM the timeline of 1999. I have a feeling that in 1999’s timeline/reality this Albrecht had discovered the Technocyte virus and used it to create the Warframe “suits” that Arthur and Aoi use, and might have (accidentally or willingly) caused the Technocyte outbreak. The reason I’m bringing this up is because it could support the idea that the Albrecht we see is an alternate timeline version, supported by the fact that this Albrecht is using an old computer ripped straight from 1999 featuring an archaic web page, and both him and Loid looking much more human than Orokin. And most importantly, DE revealed on Twitter that Qorvex was a Warframe built by Albrecht himself, making it one of the few Warframes not created by Ballas himself. The other exception I can think of off the top of my head is Titania, but the thing is, is that Titania was made around the same time as the other Warframes. So how could Albrecht, who we know lived far before the creation of Ballas’s Warframes/Primes (no Primes at all that we know of so far in 1999), have been able to create Qorvex without the knowledge that Ballas had at the time, or even before the Infestation became a thing when the Old War began, again long after Albrecht’s time? Unless he had the roots of the idea in 1999’s universe? My idea is that Orokin Albrecht pulled or found an alternate version of himself from another timeline (1999), and it is this Albrecht that he recruited to find a way to combat the Indifference while the original would find himself in Duviri and choose to die without Continuity. The 1999 Albrecht would then recruit Loid and the new Syndicate to monitor the Operator/Man in the Wall/Void until the construction of the Vessels was complete? Super crackpot theory, and super unlikely, but hey? Can’t wait for TGA to show us more Whispers in the Wall stuff!

Entrati is probably like the tenno. Void touched but changed in ways of Sight and Sound. It's probably the reason why we keep seeing a doppelganger cause how he first made contact with the void. Like stepping into a reflection for the first time, the void was given form, reason, and a wish for more, but as soon it reaches in the door that held its reflection closed. Lost a finger doing so yet remains close, tapping lightly on the wall just wanting a way in. I believe we are going to ground zero. The door he closed is starting to bend and crack, only a matter of time before the man behind the wall finds a way in. Maybe this is the reason why we are chosen, mend the door and maybe help Entrati himself along the way.

@ChonkyTatzelwurm9 ай бұрын
So for the sight and voice thing, one of the things that gets repeated pretty often on Deimos is how the Void messes with people's senses of time and space. The Isolation Vaults themselves exist for people to come back to their senses in, as it were. I've always assumed that Albrecht didn't permanently lose his sight and voice, but that they were gone in that moment and his sense of the passage of time was such that he felt the loss with a sense of finality. I don't know if you've ever had a dream in which you've lost limbs or otherwise been injured in a way that would be life-altering if it were real, but on the few occasions I've had them I feel an overwhelming sense of finality rather than loss, it's not "Oh no, I'm injured," it's a sense that whatever happened, I'm going to have to do without what I lost from now on. That's what I imagine what he's experiencing felt like, being unable to rationalize that it might be temporary
@Kennywats9 ай бұрын
No he did lose his sight and voice. The new codex entries answers it. Loid healed him
@TabbyVee9 ай бұрын
A brief explaination for why Albrecht 1) Has his eyesight and voice despite losing them as he says in the entries 2) has a different appearance than the portraits we see of him. This is extremely simple, and I don't know why you never mention it. KUVA. Nowhere does it say that he has never used Kuva, in fact its the opposite, in the Netra entry he says that he will never take the Kuva (again), meaning he has before. "And so it is that I will not take the Kuva now. Or ever again." Before the existence of Void Travel, Albrecht looked the way he did in the requiem entries. He lost his voice, lost his sight when he shattered his way through the bell glass running from Wally. He later partook of the kuva, transferring into a new body, likely many times as the attempts to reach Tau was a many centuies endeavor, around the time of the Zariman incident, he had the appearance we see in his portraits on the Zariman, we know this because Acrithus' description of him is similar to the one seen in those portraits, notably his "hair like snakes". After that he has the body which we see today in Whispers, with the trenchcoat. We know this because he has the same *voice* as he has in the requiem entries, he recorded them while he had that body, because otherwise he would have had a difference voice from being in a different body, it was at this time aswell however that he decided that he would never take the Kuva ever again, as said in the Netra entry. He does some Whispers stuff, goes into his pod, blah blah whatever happens, and we see him in 1999.

Ballas sounded and looked the same during The New War as he did in Umbra's memory from back in The Old War, the time span between those being at least a thousand years. Surely Ballas has performed Continuity at least once during all that time? I figure Orokin cosmetic procedures are advanced enough that the "continuity" of one's appearance/fashion could be maintained if one so wished. My theory is that Albrecht's new/old (when does WF:1999 happen?) trenchcoat form is a form of intentional disguise to blend in with the 1999 vibe since blue skin and snake hair would stand out.

One thing to note, that I haven't seen mentioned, is that in the 1999 trailer, Entrati hides his eyes with his cap near the end, only showing his mouth, just like the Man in the Wall, having no visible eyes and only a grinning mouth. This could maybe be an indication that the void is in control. So kind of a symbolism to say who is in control

I love the parallels with 40k. For instance the Warp interfered with 80's Earth in an old game called Chainsaw Warrior where an Ash Williams style guy takes on hoards of mutants and chaos cultists. Here is a "god" newly born into reality again reaching back before its physical appearance. Both get a touch Buddhist with the metaphysics. There is much implying a golden path to a greater tommorow for Humanity and Eldar, a coin flip impossibly landing on edge. Balance in the most cosmic and painful manner imaginable. The gods beyond the veil do not care if they lose in reality, _they thirst for entertainment_ not victory. As do we.

If DE is cribbing notes from them in turn, we may see 6 "gods" rather than 4, and only our wally being anything resembling chaos. While WF has physical corruption and spatial storms a'la 40k, it otherwise treats void energy a bit like Star Wars EU treats the force. If you ever want to truly nerd out to something ridiculously _deep fried_ in lore there is A Fan With Too Much Times audio drama "Star Wars vs 40K". He spends a good chunk of time off script explaining how the warp and force nether space act practically the same. How one might be a calmer example of the other. Before the galaxy wide "War in Heaven" the warp was called the Sea of Souls and reincarnation was possible, but the war produced warp predators that started feasting upon souls. Both fashioned themselves as scientists, although Magnus was perceived more as a sorcerer, both are of the opinnion that the Warp/Void is something that can be understood and controlled, and both may or may not have knowingly or unknowingly made deals with higher entities of the Warp/Void, which lead them to be tricked into a worse position, possibly to the point where accepting a deal was the only way to continue onward and not lose everything (actually this last thing sounds more like the operator-wally deal, but still interesting).

So, with the whole thing about continuity, I think that it's far more likely that there was some sort of "Alpha" form of it before the introduction of the Void to greater society. It was probably far more akin to something brain scanning and transference that one could witness in Soma. Where the brain is "copied" and not fully brought over. So the way to contain that sense of unease and continuity would be to kill "the old" version/form. And with how Orokin society managed to pretty much make a sort of Techno-Fungi?? Not sure what to call it, but every Orokin structure is meant to be like the Unum in Cetus. Both a feat of architectural engineering and bio-mechanical engineering. Literally the entirety of the Origin system is built upon some form of Nano technology. So I think that is why continuity is mentioned in Albrecht's monologue on Deimos. Because there was a . . . 0.1 version of it, before the 1.0 was ever created. Much like how a lot of the stuff Albrecht uses, seems to also be a much older variant or version of technology.

@@TheDsIEGE In regards to the connection between Kuva and the Void. I am referencing the Duviri Tablets. What is 'Kuva'? A. Fluid with Void-derived capacity to conduct consciousness. And I am pretty sure continuity existed before the void was explored, as in the Albrecht logs, he says, "Immortal as we are, we die with the sun." Implying they already have a means of immortality. And later he says he will not perform continuity again after what he saw in the void. Implying that he had done it a number of times before.
@TheDsIEGE9 ай бұрын
That could be interpreted in a few different ways tho. He could mean the orokin society dies with the sun, not necessarily them as individuals, much like humanity now. In the Jahu Requiem he states that "The wasted years had shown the Void to be just that. Nothing. No energy. No entanglement. No form." so... which is it? How could a thing that produced Kuva be Nothing? This is why I believe he is talking about the orokin as a whole, not himself. As far as his continuity, when he is writing this passage it's in the past tense, "For each passing day, there grew a tumorous idea", with only later him determining he wouldn't take it again. How many times did he take it before he came to this conclusion? Who's to say. My point is, this area, is one where I think Head cannon takes over for either side as it's far from concrete in the way it was presented to us. Most likely on purpose, like everything else in the warframe universe.

This is a theory I've been thinking about for a while, if I've posted it here before I'm sorry for repeating myself. I believe I'm on the track to solving Duviri, I just need more help to find parallels, and that I've definitely solved the Angels of the Zariman. This began when I was rereading the Duviri fragments, specifically the Doll Mausoleum. The thing that jumped out at me is the fact that all the dolls were wearing onesie skinsuits, clearly the ones the Tenno wear. That struck me as odd, as to me there was only one place when the Tenno wore those suits, and coincidentally it matches up with the separate pod-like nature of the mausoleum (at later inspection I realized the Tenno wore them on the Zariman too but the theory stands regardless). I believe the Doll Mausoleum is the Duviri representation of the Reservoir, and that it being lost equates to the events of the Second Dream and Lua being pulled out. And then I thought, if this depicts the second dream, and watcher's island clearly depicts the chains of harrow, what if all islands somehow parallel the story events, present or past. The bleeding earth i think represents the new war and narmer, as those are the only events where we see a mass consumption of a mind altering blood-like substance. And then we get to the big one - the caves of academe. This may seem like a stretch, but this to me represents the angels of the zariman, as that's the only circumstance when we see void duplicates of only adults of a select population. And that made me think. Because there's something we all forgot inbetween maxing out the holdfasts and completing the angels quests in the first place. Kira died on the zariman recently. Kira became a void angel. And the holdfasts arent human, they're conceptual embodiment. THE VOID ANGELS ARE CORRUPTED CONCEPTUAL EMBODIMENT. And there we get the purpose of duviri. An entire kingdom filled with live conceptual embodiments. Because here's what wally did when he made the deal - he left one child in the void to make an army for him, and another in the origin system to clear the way for it

Albrecht said that he will do anything to prove that the indifference exists, the void. What if that was his own tribute to the man in the wall? Is it possible that that is the reason why he can't speak or see anything anymore? He became a person who can do nothing. I just noticed something about the man in the wall, in that it always gets everything from the one who is speaking to it the literal thing that the person wants it to give when they saw it. The tenno, their light. Albrecht, everything. What about the lotus, then? Did she also offered something to it? For what? To obtain the power of hiding Lua from everyone?

Part of whats still unclear to me is the result of Albrecht's time travel loop + Eternalism. Are his actions in the past part of the operator's present continuity? If so doesn't that make it possible for the warframes to have been made before Ballas? Albrecht brought the helminth strain and gray strain with him to the past, so isnt it more likely Ballas simply came across what had been brought from the future? It would explain so much about why he seems to understand nothing about the warframes and why the orokin seem to call that strain the "sacred beast".

Who tf did we actually kill after the old war if the Orokin EMPERORS are still alive??? The Grineer Queen(s) are surviving Orokin, the Entrati family, Ballas for a time, that dude in a jar no one gives a shit about.... It's like we missed all the key players!

I dont think albrect needed to take the kuva and continuity if he became a void entity like the operator. His body could be completely destroyed and he would just reform. His voice and sight probably mysteriously returned like kalymos returned in full health

I think by the end origin system would be destroyed and all tenno dead. The indifference cast back into the void. The drifter though would be saved. I dont want a happily ever after ending for a warframe ending story. Warframe 2 will be on tau after thousands of year and the tenno somehow reappearing again. The tenno will awaken inside warframes that were kept as relics by the colonizers as ancient myth. At the same time the haunted zariman will also reappear at the same time as tenno's awakening bringing void rifts to tau system. Cause we all know warframe 2 is happening at some point.

Huh, I wonder if Albretch losing his 'vision' and 'voice' were metaphors of some kind. Maybe the void exposure changed his eyesight and vocals on a fundamental physical level. Also, it is possible that some kind of AI is writing these entries and summarizing 'facts' based on what can be confirmed. What I find interesting is that Albretch seems to have been exposed to 'all things' in the sense that he was exposed to every event past, present, and future and he's doing what he can with what he has and/or could decipher. Also also, I believe that many of the Orokin technologies were discovered without a greater understanding of _how_ they worked. Just because they used continuity and such doesn't mean that they fully understood how the void tied into those things. Albretch coming into contact with the indifference/man in the wall gave him a _better understanding_ of the void (IMO) and from that he developed a better understanding of how it fit with existing tech AND how to use it in new technologies.

8:40 His line here is saying "when the sun dies, and the energy in our solar system dies, so do we". The Orokin had developed star-rails, not *intergalactic* travel. They only knew the Origin system. Well, and Tau, allegedly, and were using the sentients to "prepare" it. The legacy of Albrecht, the thing the person writing all of this is so concerned with protecting, is all of the data Albrecht ever had on figuring out a way to give the *universe* continuity; or at least a way to escape entropy. That was the Orokin's biggest fear in the long run, or so they thought. Not the Tenno, not the sentients, but the loss of all energy in their star system. Albrecht was trying to solve that. How close was he before deciding to f*ck off to another dimension/reality/timeline/whatever? Maybe that's why he wants to contact our tenno so badly. Maybe we solve that for him, somehow. Or maybe he really is just possessed. The time to see is soon approaching ;)

So here is a oddity. If the Orokin Towers were made and constructed in the void. The was Zariman Ten Zero meant to cross the void from origin system to Tau. So what is problem with the void? Beyond "the indifference". On one hand the Orokin not only constructed towers as safety bunkers and energy collection. Menaing they knows what the void is and can do. Yet on the other hand they Orokin can't or didn't figure out how to use the void for FTL travel. Meaning they don't know what the void is or can do. So what is it? Do they know what and how the void works or do they not?

As far as we know, Albrecht has been trapped in the void for thousands of years, and went there with the intent of learning. Could it be possible that in this time he has been studying and absorbing all the inner workings of the universe allowing him to manipulate the void to his will? This could explain him seeing and speaking since he could theoretically change anything he wanted about his reality. Maybe he has spent so long in the void that he is no longer able to be differentiated from any other void entity that can manifest at any place or time much like our Wally. Or if we are to go with the multiple Albrecht theory it seems that, much like our tenno, he is a convergence point. Assuming that 1999, and origin system Albrecht are two separate individuals, he seems to be destined to bring about some great cataclysm or other major change to his current reality. I always feel like a lunatic when i speculate about this junk lol

Do u think another like ballas will show there face, and umbra frames......and I l kno the lore has shown us alot....but I feel there's still unanswered questions...I still feel like there's something we are not seeing yet....the book that has ballas speaking on how he made warframes, will they unlock more....I also wonder is there a Rouge tenno and warframe out there...like the unbra excalibur....but different...and It seems from ballas to Albert....that some groups were building super soldiers to win the war......but what if there's another type of warframe we haven't seen yet ...we still need answers on the stalker..like what if the dax son from the sacrifice is still alive.....what I'd when the next quest comes we find something that tells us more about excalibur umbra and I think they should tell us a little bit of the man in the wall plan because now I don't think he is here for the tenno...I kinda think the man in the wall wants the void to take over the tenno universe.

im pondering, is wallie a bad guy, really i roleplay my tenno as a merc that work for both the human supremacist at new loka, the corpus from the perrim sequence and even the crazy murderes at the red veil(started to work for them after chains of harrow, no joke or roleplay just took while to notice i could up them and get all the warframes aguments i could need from across all three) so maybe in not the best one to judge good bad, im just a tenno with a gun but wallie at worst seens like a neutral wishgiver that just ask his due back, he may be scary but seen to genuelly want to help in his eldrich way idk i would work for him

I just got into Warframe this last week and your videos have really helped me stay coherent on the grind. Something I noticed though was that everything in this story arc exists because of a quantum state. Eternalism is just saying scientifically all time exists at the same time. Which made a lot of things click in the story for me. The Indifference, your shadow, Lotus, everything is happening because Entrati is basically a watcher on the wall. Guys on a mission to fight a cosmic threat because he paradoxically saved himself from the threat. How many loops has he gone through? He left mid war, his computer and everything is meticulously prepped for him to practice doing what he needs to do with 1999 technology. His arrival in Duvari, his interactions, the "chosen operator" being specifically the sole survivor miracle of the void. Even the existence of a time machine is very coincidental and in line with the paradox. There's also a fascinating line where he mentions that he was obsessed with the void, something he didn't know existed, much less would have value. How many times has he done this to where he felt safe enough to keep trying to not realize the Indifference would eventually find him?
@TheDsIEGE8 ай бұрын
I'm actually going to be going over that specifically in my next video!!!! I think you'll enjoy!
@Sole_Samurai9 ай бұрын
I have yet to check your channel again for a newer video but (before watching the video) do you think that the showdown in 1999 may lead to some paradoxical interaction between wally, entrati, and tenno as eternalism may take place and solidify the pact between Albrecht and wally... just as it did with our operators and drifters. How can we undo something that will always be done?
@Sole_Samurai9 ай бұрын
I ask this as there is already a "paradox" within the game being that of duiviri... and if it has become a possibility for these events to be almost normalized. IN BEFORE 1999 becomes just another tile set post quest because its a time travel paradox and it is thus allowed to exist along side the rest of the universe..

Re: continuity - It seems like the Kuva-based techniques used to perform continuity are unrelated to, or at least not reliant on, the void-tech made based on Albrecht's research. It's also possible that the Orokin already knew of the Void and Albrecht's contributions were the ability to actually enter it. Entering the void where the laws of nature don't apply seems necessary for FTL travel, which seems to be Albrecht's main focus of research since he opens his vitruvian entries by talking about human's desire to explore and expand, and his role being that of the one who will enable the already-immportal Orokin to reach beyond their own star so they may outlast it. Re: the severed hand - I'm pretty sure that is the Lotus' hand. It looks the part and, since the lotus fell into the void after Ballas severed her right arm on which we held, it makes sense that her right hand would fall separately into the void. Re: seeing, speaking Albrecht - Albrecht is also suspected of being the scholar who visited Duviri for a limited time and built a laboritory there, and from the codex entries that tell this story it seems he was also capable of speaking with the locals there. On the other hand, Albrecht seems to not be able to speak, or at least not speak coherently, at the start of the demo from Tennolive, which makes me think that his loss of sight and voice may be related to damage caused to his physical body, a limitation that may not apply in the void and wherever 1999's portion of the demo takes place.
@TheDsIEGE9 ай бұрын
I mean... it seems that way, but there's nothing saying that's the case in game and most of the context clues point to 1, continuity being a product of the void, and 2 that void technology provided nothing before him. Head cannon I believe is influencing both sides at the moment, and I'm hoping we get clarification during whispers in the walls.

I think I mentioned before - but I do have a theory as to the Voids nature, and why things came to what they are now, in Warframe. Let's put it like this - whether through something divine/in-divine or through natural causes... what if, whomever or whatever made the Void, never finished their work and moved on to do something else. What if, the Void is pretty much that - "Nothing", but unlike other dimensions, worlds, whatever constitutes as where the Void "is" - this plane was... 'alive'. Or at least, responsive. What if, the Void either was numb and 'dead', no goals, no purpose, it sat there with nothing established. No laws invoked. No foundations set. No shape, color, size, or form to take. No principles to enact. For it was nothing. HOWEVER, what if the Man in the Wall was a corrupted personification of Albrecht Entrati...? Unless it can be proven it was 'always there' - what if the Void, alive or merely reacting to some kind of stimuli within Albrecht, decided to manifest something akin to Albrecht? What if, the Void replicated a doppleganger of Mr. Entrati - with the capabilities that Albrecht probably desired and wanted, but it also replicated the strongest, corrupted and selfish desires within Albrecht, and his look-alike then took form of the colossal 'god' that makes his presence known, once in the while? What if the Man In The Wall is a corrupted "reflection" of Albrecht Entrati, with little to no means to keep it from growing out of control? Perhaps the MITW is another personification of what of Albrecht's thoughts when he first stepped into the Void's dimension? Or was the Man In The Wall always there, and this was its visage? Why is it known as the "Indifferent"? Perhaps due to so much isolation - it grew cold, bored out of it's mind, and was an artisan without a canvas to paint - without clay to shape into a sculpture - without a chisel, hammer, and some rock to shape into a work of art? Maybe it's this way because it had no purpose for so long - it established no value in the 'lesser' beings it (sorta) recently got introduced to? Did the Origin system, long before Warframe's days - perhaps during 1999 or further back - did the Man In The Wall ever make himself present one way or another through the Origin Systems habitants ancestors?

This group that made theses entries sound similar to the Quills on Cetus. Perhaps this Albrecht Entrati is an alternate version of himself like The Drifter. I remember what Archimedean Yonta said about her Albrecht Entrati dream. She asked where has he been? He says "everywhere". Then he tears himself in half. He visited Duviri as well given what I read about Scholar's Landing. Perhaps the void is a quantum manifestation anomaly? I found it interesting that Parvos Granum isn't mentioned in these entries at all. Why was he insignificant to this group? I find even more interesting that Qorvex was developed by Entrati and not by Ballas. This update will have some major lore for sure. Looking forward to it. I hope this update finally has some answers. One last thing, I no longer feel like the infestation on Deimos was an accident.

Heres a crackpot theory. What if the man in the wall installed a fragment of his "personality/power" into various people that grabs his attention that can open the door just a bit wider. For example Albrect Entrati, the 7 emperors, Ballas and of course the Tenno. The reason being from my understanding is because all future possibilities exist within the void and anyone who can make a big enough ripple effect into future possibilities can in theory be directed in some way to creating a situation beneficial circumstance for Wally.

DE said something about Stalker getting serious lore additions in future, meaning he's likely going to play an important role in future events. Logically speaking, all this information would likely require skilled field operatives to gather. If it isn't Stalker or his team of weebs, could be other Low Guardians or whatever they're called. I'd wager on Stalker, although it might contradict the fact that he actively hunted us. Eh, seems unlikely. Either someone like him or seeing how many necramechs Albrecht employs, might be one of those, some kind of construct. Considering that entries read more like AI that a person. Doubt it's another person, his secret butt-buddy assistant seems to be the only one there. Another possibility is guys from 1999, especially the woman on comms.

I'm not convinced that Ballas is Ballas. That is to say I think the person we encountered who was wearing his face is a sentient mimic, similar to Lotus. However we can see in The Lotus that the imprint of a person, Margulis in The Lotus case, can be a major influence, if not our right overriding the identity of a mimic. The true Ballas is hidden away somewhere, making moves in parallel to The Indifference, a fight between higher powers for the fate of the origin system.
