The Ars Goetia depicts 12 Princes of Hell also referred to as 12 Lesser Kings or Lords: Belial, Lord of Lies is one and so is Ba'al, Lord of Destruction, and Adrammolech, Lord of Judgement. Asmodeus however is one of the 7 Archdemons also known as the 7 Deadly Princes or Sins each one was a high ranking Angel before the fall called Archangels Lucifer being top dog as God's Right hand before the fall, each Archdemon fell due to their specific Sin, Lucifer's Pride caused his fall, etc. The 7 Archdemons are: Lucifer-Pride, Asmodeus-Lust, Belphagor-Gluttony, Mammon-Greed, Leviathan-Envy, Satan-Wrath, & Beelzebub-Sloth. The Archdemons rule over 7 out of 9 rings of hell each one for their Sins. Adrammolech has responsibilities in the first ring/circle also known as Limbo, as the Lord of Judgement he sends sinners to their specific ring of hell that their sins got them into, he's also the Chancellor of Hell and Lucifer's personal tailor, in Dante's Inferno he's depicted as King Minos, just as the Lust ring's boss is Cleopatra VII and Marcus Antonius. The Ranks of Demons are as this: Archdemons, Ars Goetia, Greater Demons, Lesser Demons, Imps, & Hellhounds. Verosika Mayday is a succubus which is actually a Lesser Demon of Lust making her under Asmodeus' rule and one rank above Blitz and the others at I.M.P. The strongest to weakest Archdemon are as follows: Lucifer, Satan, Leviathan, Asmodeus, Belphegor, Mammon, & Beelzebub, though it depends on the listing the only constant ones I've found are Lucifer #1 & Satan #2. All "Demons" are fallen angels of some form in the heiarchy, as when Lucifer fell he took 3/4 of the heavenly host with him, meaning 75% of angels fell with him including 6 other Archangels who became the 7 deadly sins. Each one took a demonic name and look in order to defy God who made them and gave them their names. Asmodeus actually is designed accuratley to his pictures I've seen he has 3 faces one of a human, one of a bull, and one of a raven.

More than just that. I am very intrigued by Asmodeus words, because he is not wrong and we can't defend Stolas because if anyone is going to recognize lust from miles away is the very demon who embodies it. And the question that came to my mind was: Is Stolas actually feeling love for Blitzo or confusing his lust for him with love? And taking in consideration that Lust doesn't mean "sexual passion" as it's popularly believed to be ,but "deep obsession" that is an interesting thing to put on the show. He sold his life for a thrust...and for what? A love interest who doesn't even reciprocate his feelings and doesn't even seem to want to spend time with him outside of using his status or honoring his part of the deal. Ooooh the plot becomes more and more interesting.

15:26 "Why did they even drive?" That's actually a seemingly small detail... But if you think about it, Stolas has full capability to teleport within hell. It's interesting then, that he was willing to get a lift in very small van to go home... And that Blitzo went along with it, knowing that it was very easy for Stolas to just leave (they literally teleported from Earth back to hell last episode). My thoughts are that neither wanted to truly to be alone in that moment... They just wanted to feel safe and welcomed by **someone**, even if a whole club just dragged them through the mud. Now if only they realized that about each other.

Blitzø desperately wants what Moxxie and Millie have, but his relationship with Stolas is a quid pro quo where they're just using each other, so it doesn't feel real for him. He only started fucking Stolas so he can be his own boss (hence the name of the show). Stolas may genuinely feel love for Blitzø, but Stolas is in a position of power over him with the book so it's more like he's forcing it to happen. Blitzø asking Stolas out on a date after his marriage fell apart was the best thing Stolas could hope for because it means Blitzø finally wants him and not because of some deal, but it wasn't genuine and that made it the worst thing that could have happened to Stolas.

Agree to disagree. @VirtueCry you're right about the relationship of Blitz and Stolas at the beginning, but now I have the feeling that many people blame Blitz without fully understanding him. Did he f*ck up? Yes, he totally did, but there id a reason to why he's acting like that and it is well explained in episode 6. Blitz had a few relationship, one with Stolas, one with Verossica and one with Fizerali (althought we still don't know how close they were). In each of them, Blitz had fun and was happy thus why he took photo of them, those photos represent the happiest moment of his life. However, in the backgroung of his house, we can see pictures of "I.M.P." except in each one of them, Blitz removed himself. He hate himself because of something that happened with his familly that he feels responsable (last photo on his phone), since then he fears to be rejected by other he loves thus why he acts like a pr*ck.

Second only to God. Vivz confirmed that even though he fell from grace, Lucifer retains ALL of his angelic might and is a fallen angel rather than a demon. Demons are weak to holy/angelic power, and the angel executioners are powerful enough that inhabitants of Hell up to the Overlord ranking have to go into hiding when they're on the hunt. Executioners are absolutely NOTHING compared to Lucifer's own power The inhabitants of Hell submit to Lucifer's rule out of fear, not respect. But that fear extends ONLY to Lucifer himself, not his immediate family members

According to Vivz, he isn't a demon, but a fallen angel and that he still has all his angelic/holy powers which hold sway over all of Hell. He has absolute rule over Hell Charlie and Lilith are actually the second most powerful beings in Hell with the Seven Deadly Sins right after them, and then the Ars Goetia

Also remember in "Spring Broken" Verosika got out of rehab, and claimed that it was for " sad, loser wash-ups", and then adds "your sister says hi". SOooo something tells me Blitz's sister isn't doing so hot.

Ok so I think the main reason Blitzo is constantly following Moxxie and Millie around is because he's Jealous and Alone. . . He wants to experience to same kind of love and Happiness that they share, With all of Blitzo's family separated/gone he's got nobody to turn too for help, which was partially the whole reason he adopted Loona just so he could have a family again, and because Blitzo is so incredibly anti-social about his feelings he doesn't trust anyone to understand what he's going through, so he shuts everyone out, Back in episode 2 we were introduced to Robo-Fizz which was created in a Factory, But in this Episode we were introduced to the REAL Imp Fizzarolli (you can tell by the Tail and the Pupils in the eyes, The clown in the photos Blitzo was going through at the end was of Him and Fizzarolli as friends back when they were kids, we aren't sure what happened to Fizzarolli and why he has robotic limbs but based on the way he treats Blitzo it's gotta be something between them. I really hope the 2nd part of the Finale gives us more detail on Blitzo's Family or give us a better understanding to why he shuts everyone out, more info on Blitzos Past with Fizzarolli would be nice too.

I think Blitz honestly has no idea that Stolas actually cares about him. Blitz has some STRONG self hate (notice he has his own face scribbled out in the pictures in his home). Like his trip in the last episode shows, Blitz desperately wants to feel love, but he doesn't think he's capable of it, and he really thinks that no one WILL EVER love him. That's why he stalks Millie and Moxie, because the only way he knows to experience love is vicariously through theirs.

But...he is using him. Up to this point, Blitzo has showed that he has no interest in spending time with Stolas outside of honoring his part of the Grimoire deal....and using him to get into the club. And either Stolas doesn't care that he hasn't showed him any sign of actual affection or he is unbelievable blunt . Blitzo didn't even kissed Stolas until he mentioned if he was going to get a "reward". Blitzo doesn't seem to see Stolas as a potential love interest. It's impossible to take someone to the next level when you don't even consider them a potential love interest, heck not even a close friend.

I think you missed that Osmodius and Fizzeralis have a loving relationship like Moxie and Mille, but its not what the club is about. Did you see how worried Osmodius was about Fizzeralis when Mille knocked him out? And all the little lovydovy touches Osmodius and Fizzeralis have in there act? I think Osmodius and Fizzralis get an in love smuck to crack on a few times a year. Its just that this time they go it given back to them. Blitz is living vicariously through Moxie and Millie. But Blitz has lost someone very important to him, and he is scared to lose someone else now. Osmodius respects Solis's going for the love he wants, but it to juicy to rip him apart in the club scene. Blitz must have a massive dick to be attracting Demons like he does. Blitz and Fizzeralis were friends as kids, but apparently Blitz did something to ruin that relationship. I think Blitz did something to his sister that got her put in rehab, and he is very guilty about it. Haven't seen anything bout his mother yet.

One thing that still stands out is Fizzarelli, Barbie Wire, Tilla, and Blitzø all sport the same mark on their forehead. I know some are saying it could just be a tattoo, or some sign of being in the circle, but we don’t see other imps from that episode with the symbol, only those four. Perhaps it is a birthmark or it could be a tattoo, either way I feel it could point at a much deeper relationship between all four.

I saw a theory that it is a tattoo, a symbol that they all worked at the same circus. Cause we know that Blitz and Barbie were in a circus act together, so their mom would have been in one as well and that’s how Blitz would have met Fizz: the circus. The pictures Blitz looks at on his phone at the end of this episode suggest that the theory may be pretty accurate.

This was such a sad episode of emotions & insight of their relationship. He's so emotionally closed off to any real feelings from Stolas because it's more of a business transaction than a real relationship & as we saw when it was pointed out that Stolas was sleeping with an imp he hid his face in shame letting Blitzø know what they have will never be more than what it is. It's probably why he follows Millie & Moxie everywhere & watches them being "intimate" because they have real love & he craves that so he's living vicariously through them. 14:25 Fun fact: A feathered friend once informed me that the pole spins not the people that are on it

This is going to be a long comment.... This episode let us know soooooo much about Blitzø and Stolas: We now have confirmation that the reason he follows M&M around is because he genuinely wants what they have, but has no clue how to get it Both Stolas and Blitzø obviously care about eachother, but neither know how to show it, and they're both subconsciously letting their class differences affect how they interact (Blitzø can't help but feel like he'll never be more than a toy to someone like Stolas (and it didn't help when Stolas hid his face while being confronted about it) and Stolas is constantly calling Blitzø demeaning names without realizing it ("itty bitty imps like yourself", "impish little plaything", stuff like that). In fact, the end was the first time we've ever heard Stolas call him Blitzø). Stolas could've easily created a portal and went home through it. Instead, he chose to ride in Blitzø's cramped, messy van to spend more time with him Something happened in the past, and Blitzø genuinely hates himself because of it. All those pictures in his house with someone crossed out, he crossed himself out of them. Someone else put it better than I ever could: He's surrounding himself with things he loves, and is making sure to remove himself from it all. It's believed that one of the pictures on Blitzø's phone is of him and Fizzarolli when they were both kids, and another was of them as teenagers. That means they grew up together, so something really bad had to happen for them to have that much animosity towards each other. The picture that finally made him break down was of his mom and his twin sister (in the pilot they were both his sisters, but several details have been changed since then. For example, Millie had some white hair in that one, but then they decided all female imps had black hair, and all male imps had white). On to other stuff: Asmodeus (Ozzie) is the literal embodiment of Lust, and rules over the entire Lust ring. Him and the other sins only answer to Lucifer himself, meanwhile Stolas is merely a Goetian Prince, and is nowhere near as powerful as the 6 deadly sins (Lucifer is technically Pride, so there would only be 6 below him). Also, Ozzie could've killed M&M like swatting a fly, but he instead chose to give Moxie a chance to sing a more lustful song, and just kicked them out when he didn't. Meanwhile him and Fizz were acting all lovey dovey throughout.

@@theduckgoesmoo nah from the looks of it his problem isn't with love, it's the fact that moxie was trying to sing a love song in his super high class strip club that's themed around debauchery. Someone else made a pretty good comparison in that it's like going to a place thats for metal and singing my little pony songs. Hell Ozzie told him he was ruining the mood, said what he was doing wrong, the gave him the guitar and mic back. Ozzie's is simply not a place for love songs. The fact that he just told them to get out instead of smiting them like he is super able and allowed to do kinda shows he doesn't have an issue with them really.

He wouldn't necessarily have any problem with love or romance, but Moxxie was singing a sappy love song, in the Lust Ring, at a club dedicated exclusively to Lust and depravity, owned by the literal embodiment of Lust. He just didn't want them ruining the vibe (although a surprisingly large portion of the crowd was cheering for M&M by the end)

The train station is actually a huge massive elevator the rings ( regions ) of hell here are stacked one on top of each other like Dantes inferno. Asmodeus here like in real demonology is a king of hell and the demon that rules over and embodies the sin of lust. He is quite above Stolas ( a prince ) and power and authority and in Vizi’s hell he rules the circle of lust only under Lucifer and his direct family Lilith his wife and Queen and Chalie. Blitzo is fascinated by the genuine love in Moxie and Millies relationship cause it sometimes he truly wants but doesn’t believe he can’t have thats impossible for him.

Asmodeus is voiced by James Monroe Iglehart, he’s a very talented singer who played the Genie in Aladdin on Broadway! Also if you didn’t know already, Alex Brightman (Fizz’s VA) is also a Broadway actor who is mostly known for Beetlejuice. So many talented people in this cast!

The Hell hierarchy more or less goes as follows: - Lucifer - Lillith and Charlie - The 7 Deadly sins (Satan, Beelzebub, Mammon, Asmodeus, Leviathan, Belphagor, and technically Lucifer himself as well) - The Ars Goetia (Stolas and 71 other demons/fallen angels) - Overlords (Alastor, Vox, Valentino, etc.) - Sinners and 90% of regular demons - Imps - Hellhounds That's why Stolas was suddenly so embarrased to be with Blitzo compared to the times where he shamelessly flaunted their relationship to the Loo Loo Land imps and Wrath Ring imps.

I went absolutely crazy about Blitzø's phone, I could go on about the details of the apps on there, I'd recommend going back and pausing to see all the nods (like Voxflix and that he has a pony dress up game), and the pictures too are all amazing, the biggest ones were Loona's adoption, Fizzarolli and Blitzø as teens and children (I'm so excited about learning more about their history), and the last one, Blitzø with his sister Barbie Wire and his mom (if you look carefully she has the skull choker Blitzø is always seen wearing) and also how Blitzø doesn't have the white patch over his eye in his younger pictures. Oh and the detail of how his face is marked out in the pictures he has on the walls of his apartment, whew!

Commented this on another reaction, but I'm gonna comment it here as well since you asked if Stolas is as powerful as Asmodeus, also some basic info: there is a ring in Hell for each of the 7 deadly sins, each ruled by one of the 7 princes of Hell, who embody the sin, hellborn travel between rings via an elevator as heard at 3:13 in this video. Now to the power hierarchy. (Feel free to correct me if I've gotten something wrong) As far as everyone's aware, the power hierarchy of Hell goes something like this: 1. Lucifer (Charlie's father, king of Hell, and prince of the Pride ring) 2. Charlie and Lilith 3. The princes of the 6 other rings of hell (Asmodeus being the prince of the Lust ring, the one we saw in this episode) 4. The Ars Goetia (e.g. Stolas, Stella, Octavia) 5. Overlords (Alastor, Vox, Valentino, Velvet, etc.) 6. Regular sinners (Angel Dust, Vaggie, Cherri Bomb, Sir Pentious, Katie Killjoy, Tom Trench, etc.) 7. Hellborn (Verosika/succubi/incubi and other species we don't know about) 8. And finally imps and hellhounds at the very bottom (Blitzo, Moxxie, Millie, Loona, Fizzarolli, etc.). So no, Stolas is not, as far as I can tell, equal to Asmodeus. Asmodeus is the prince of the Lust ring and is therefore one step above an Ars Goetia such as Stolas.

If Stolas and Asmodeus (the titular Ozzie) are equals? Nay, they are not. Asmodeus is also a demon prince, but he belongs to the Seven Deadly Sins, a group of demons serving *directly* below Lucifer (who is also technically their member, as he is the Prince of Pride). All of the Deadly Sins rule over their respective Circles of Hell (Asmodeus is the Prince of Lust Ring, Mammon is the Prince of the Ring of Greed, etc.) Oh, and all of them were once archangels, though they allied with Lucifer during his rebellion against God. You can see how powerful they are. Anyway, the point is that Asmodeus is Stolas’ superior both in power and hierarchy and in this episode, our poor old owl boy just got publicly humiliated by him. If this kind of mockery is done over having an affair with a random imp, imagine the outrage that would follow if it was revealed that Stolas gave the same imp his Grimoire. Yeah, not good.

So let's assume the Social Hierarchy of Hell in Helluva Boss/Hazbin Hotel is at all the same as it's described in The Lesser Key of Solomon and other scripts. At the very top of the totem pole you have Lucifer the King of Hell with his wife Lilith and daughter Charlie just below him. After them you have the 7 Deadly Sins again with Lucifer at the top as Pride and within them you have Asmodeus as Lust. Mammon has also been mentioned in the show who is Greed, Beezlebub as Gluttony, Leviathan as Envy, Satan as Wrath, and Belphegor as Sloth. then below them you have 72 Ars Goetia Demons divided into Kings, Dukes, Princes, Marquise, Earls, Knights, and Presidents. Stolas is in this group as one of the Princes and numbers 37th overall and his sphere is astronomy, and knowledge of plants and gems. Technically Asmodeus is also part of the Ars Goetia as 5th in the Kings grouping. After that you have the rest of Hell with the Imps and Hellhounds at the bottom of the ladder. I think in Hazbin/Helluva Boss tho it's been simplified and the Ars Goetia is simply a big powerful family of demons. Weather or not Asmodeus is part of it is yet to be seen, especially since almost none of the other Sins are mentioned in the Goetian hierarchy

Fun fact: Fizz and Blitzø know each other since they were kids. They were both in a Circus, Fizz became famous due to Ozzie, while Blitzø tried hard but had an accident, hench the big white spot on his face Another fun fact: the last picture is Blitzø his family, mom and twin sister, who Verosika knows before she went to rehab due to burned out showbizz i believe, (see episode 3 summer break.) Personally, I tend to not theorize, just in case I'm right, so I'm just putting this out there in case you want to theorize. Also when you get your friend to react to Helluva Boss, please have her react to the pilot as well since it introduces the characters and sets up the whole show.

This episode was very amazing to butter sad at the end as Blitz want love like Millie and Moxxie, but he is very toxic to be around. 😭 I believe there is only 2 parts and after it being Hazbin Hotel for next year to shine. Also at the end is a whole timeline of photos of him and his “friends” to family. As showing how he offer Moxxie the job, adopting Loona (side note, there is information on the adoption paper that is USA print of adoption), Verosika and him during younger years (Blitz had no white spot over his eye), then lastly being Fizz with him through childhood and circus moment, and the grand final pic is him with his sister and mother. As it seems sad to see him break down that he want love and family. Oh yeah the person at the name Steve is a animator that worked on Hazbin Hotel and Helluva boss. He died by a unknown, but this was his last animation work. So may he have a safe journey and watch over the animation team on where he might go to. 😌

Asmodeus is STRONGER than Stolas. The power structure in Hell is Lucifer at the very top, his wife and Charlie are just below him. Right below them is the 6 deadly sins(Lucifer himself is also doubles as the sin of Pride so it's 6 not 7) of which Asmodeus is Lust. Below them is the 72 members of the Ars Goetia, and THAT is wher Stolas is. Stolas isn't even in the top TEN in hell, which is crazy to think about. Those pictures were going back in Blitzo's life, starting where they are now, adopting Loona and making IMP, then it was him with Verosika. Then we see him with some other Imp that might be a teen Fizzarolli. Then we see Blitzo as a child with who is certainly Fizzarolli, showing they had been friends for a long time before they fell out. The last picture is Blitzo as a kid with his sister and his Mother, which sparks him breaking down there. So SOMETHING happened with his Mother presumably (there's actually a picture of his sister in IMP, so it's probably not relating to her) and that resulted in his life just collapsing and Blitzo being afraid of getting close to people. The reason he's so set on invading their personal time is because Blitzo wants that kind of relationship, but he's too afraid for some reason to actually pursue one himself. So he lives vicariously through Millie and Moxie.

Contrary to appearances, Blitz is aware that it is his fault. Verosica is a bad character and it shows, but it was Blitz who hurt her, not the other way around when She called him bitch it was paint at hes face smth like "Damn. I really hurt her... Thats not funny anymore" . If in fact Blitz was hurt by someone, he would erase from the photos the faces of people who hurt him. But he erases himself(Photos on room walls in last scene) . He hates himself. He erases from the photos of people he loves because he prefers to look at their smile than at his own. All Blitz cares about is what he constantly loses. For Friends and family. This is evident in his relationship with Luna, whom he cares for with all his MIGHT. Or Even with moxxie blitz constantly insults him but when things get serious he dont leave moxxie behind like when he try to carried Mox away from those demon hunter. I'm Sure he could risk hes life for saving friends . Also how M&M (Millie and Moxxie) perceives it. He admires them and envies them such a relationship he wants. He is afraid of such relationships, because he knows that he can lose it, so he prefers to sneak up behind M&M. So is the relationship with Stolas. Blitz felt a bit used. Then he invited him on a date only to treat him as the key to the entrance to the premises. The real relationship is something Stolas needed at that moment because the family had left him. When Asmodeus and Fizz started making fun of them, Stolas made things a worse when he covered his face with the menu card. Blitz perceived that Stolas was ashamed of him. As if Stolas thought Blitz was not Worth compromising (Emotions are clearly paint on Blitz Face). Stolas realized and tried to console Blitz but it was too late. After he drove Stolas to the house. Blitz started pointing out that he just wanted to fuck him. And so it was, but Stolas knew it and tried to fix it. Every time Stolas tried to be honest in this scene, Blitz looked away and failed to see Stolas's good intentions and sincerity. At the end, Blitz was probably the first time on the show that he said "I'm sorry" quite seriously. It blew me away. It shows that Blitz is perfectly aware of what kind of person he is and that he sees himself as even worse than he really is. And, of course, the final Phone photos view scene shows that Blitz really cares about all of this and that he loves all the people in the photos. I didn't quite know how to stop crying in this episode... no-shit. And on the Photo which makes him cry is his SIS and mum. As we konow from ep3 (at least as Verosica said) Blitz Sister is in alco rehab.
