2 years later, it seems like it may not have been entirely non canon! We have the VoxVal/StaticMoth situationship (which was in the non-canon IG posts first), we have Vox being a voyeur and having cameras hidden all around Val's place, we have Vox's jealousy of the attention Val gives Angel (not clearly confirmed in the series but well-hinted at), and we have Vox updating his head from a CRT TV to a flat screen (which was a popular headcanon before being confirmed).

The guy who just is straight up a monitor is called Vox. Vox, just like Angel, is a victim of Valentino (the moth guy)'s love. And while he wants to escape, he is far too in love with his abuser. He is sort of like Val's info guy, he has camera's everywhere and can feed info to Val. The video is about Val's toxic and manipulative relationships with Angel and Vox. The lyrics to the song match Vox and Angel's perspective's (verse 1 being Angel, verse 2 being Vox) Also, the song isn't a hazbin hotel song, it just really fits, but there is a cover on KZbin in Vox and Angel's voices

The two voices singing they should not trust Valentino are Angel Dust and VOX (the guy with the monitor head). And while Valentino is assaulting Angel Dust Vox unzips his pants and whips out his "Joy Stick" (don't pretend you don't know what I mean) I honestly believe Angel wants out but he's not quite sure how else to make the money to support his drug habbit. When you battle the depression demons daily you see how others can sell themselves short not knowing what they actually CAN do so you feel stuck doing what you don't want to do. It's like do you stay with the demons you know or take your chances with the ones you dont (especially when you have bills to pay or expectations to live up to)

while i appreciate the animatic and the hard work though i do feel that addict was a better depiction of who the characters are and their stories etc idk the animatic just felt off it didn't feel quite like it was the angel that vivzie has written which makes sense as i assume vivzie probably wasn't part in making this. but its a good fan animatic and the artstyle is very accurate to vivzies. love it :3 on a side note i did miss the fact that in addict it's the actual characters singing and it wasn't in this fanimatic. that's fine and understandable but i really missed that XD
