Hey Daniel, I was reading what you had to say on your KZbin community post about the low numbers on this series, so I thought I'd post here. It's a bummer that a series that you're so passionate about and want to share with the world isn't being picked up like you'd hoped, but it is true that sometimes passion doesn't pay the bills😔 As for me, I plan to watch what you have up so far whenever I get a chance. Unfortunately, I've had some real life engagements that have kept my KZbin time rather limited lately. This is a new game to me though, and I am keen to find out what you have to say about it. Anyway, try not to get too discouraged. I know this is a humble token, but thank you for the very fine work that you do and all of the effort that that entails behind the scenes. Chin up, my friend-you'll get 'em on the next one✊🏼

I loved your runebound videos and super bummed your stopping then😢 2nd edition was my first entry into these kinda boardgames and played the hell outta it solo cuz all my friends are into sports😂 anyway thanks for the awesome videos brother!!! P.S. things changed a lot in 3rd edition and i barely played it .

Stubborn rumors claim that this series won't last until the end of it due to low ratings. I just like to say: 1. Thank you very much for doing it. I enjoyed it quite a bit. 2. You know how sometimes people say about a game that it has randomness over randomness? So here you talk about an already rare game, and added fan-made-expansions which I guess most Runebound 2nd players haven't played with. (a) As for me? I really loved to be exposed to them and grateful for the links! (b) Nevertheless, while not living in the States, and while I like my components to be at the highest quality as possible -I really don't know where I can print those cards, and I have zero experience and knowledge in this area. So for me, it looks both super cool and unapproachable. 3. If my financial status was better - Your channel was the first channel I would have invested my money in order to show my support. 4. I like to offer a different perspective to your sort of desperation or frustration from the fact that the Runebound series wasn't so popular, Especially considering the fact that you love this game so much and clearly enjoy creating this content: Artists... when they create... they don't think of the money which they will earn from it... Creation is simply something that they must do.. an unseparated part of their being in this existence... of their soul.. Sure, you should take care of your survival in this world... But never feel too bad for doing something that you really love (as long as it doesn't hurt anybody). Yes.. obviously the idle situation is when our fantasy and our profits meet together.. But don't let your spirit fall only because of a low rating when you were doing something that came out of your guts, your passion, your authenticity. Those videos... They have their spark and uniqueness. Over years and years to follow, people will watch them and get inspired by them. And even if from time to time - your expectations of your content won't get fulfilled in reality, Yet, always find comfort, and never take for granted - The fact that you are getting excited during the journey itself.

You have such an eclectic collection of games. It's awesome to see their attributes. Some are from a lost time. Some maybe should stay lost in time. Haha. It took me a few decades to get back into boardgames. Have you looked at Maladum? I'm not sure how much it lines up with your interests since there's not much content between dungeon crawls. Also the dungeon crawl maps are pregenerated, so randomization of maps isn't really a thing. And it uses terrain instead of tiles so setup takes a few minutes. But it's a very tactile game and the events between rounds and dice roll probability of monsters spawning might make some of that not mean much. Anyway, you dissect games really well so I'm curious about your thoughts.

Maladum looks cool! That company makes good stuff. Set up takes a very long time though.

This is such an interesting game! I've only played the basic game so far, unfortunately, but I think you can get a lot out of the game with house rules. Unfortunately, there is too little interaction between the players.

The character deck expansions add a lot more player interaction. Hopefully I can cover those in the future!

Aren't the symbols for or the terrain on the weather track? I thought they were printed on the board.

I really wish FFG would return to this series but I’m afraid they have all but abandoned their Terrinoth universe.
