The hotal has been on this site for 114 years.
In 2020 Jackson McDonald a beef farmer bought the run down hotel and rebuilt it to it present magnificance.
Fabulous well prepared meals, set in a great destination and a must visit, as it is only about 2 hours north of Brisbane.

Looks like a beaut place to spend and day and maybe a night. Do they have a karaoke night or open mike I wonder. Maidenwell did/does a pig on a spit with a live band once a month and it’s really well patronised.
