Looks like the same technology we were using at Whiting Corp. 70 years ago. Worked well, and nice to see it's still in use. Our cranes typically used 3 phase 400 volt induction motors - Big difference today is the use of trolley supported/looped power cabling along the bridge girders. We used open (uninsulated) bus bars with "pick ups" mounted on the hoist trolley which is dangerous for both crane operation, and maintenance.
