It's not just that Shin is great with card magic, yes his sleight of hand is what could be close to perfection, BUT it's his innate sense of showmanship that put him on top. He was born with this rhythm and his love for music which, after the incident with his hands, he took that talent to card magic and who would have thought that something amazing would come out of it. Yes, Shin is great at card magic... but Shin wouldn't be where he is today if it wasn't for his years of dedication to music AND magic. Penn Jillete said to Shin that he believes if even one part of the trick is discovered by the audience, the entire thing falls apart. But even then, Shin's entire performance still holds up. I love Shin and it's not just his card magic I love about his performance. Try this, turn the sound off and see if the performance is as good as it is WITHOUT the music then you'll see that Magic isn't his only talent.

At 4:46-4:47 you can tell on the bottom right corner of the card box that it isn’t full and that there were definitely no cards. Right before that, around 4:38 he opens the box by the table as he lets out the deck of cards. Its all about the angles and transitions. Its easier to be fooled by the camera than in person. Its still masterful how he was able to pull off such a long routine of illusions and sleight of hand.

@@dsakax No Shin Lim performs to the music, he doesn't perform magic he performs art. Watch some of his own performances, the full length ones, and listen carefully to the music and watch his hands, he moves with the flow, very soft and then sudden movements, it's actually beautiful.

The difference is how experienced you are at what ever it is you do. Shin is awesome at what he does, Rich is awesome at what he does. The head drop routine. I bet Shin cannot pull that off as well as Rich does.

Absolutely amazing performance. Unfortunately the crowd was kinda dead. Barely cheered or clapped. Usually where there is normal reactions of gasps and cheers of disbelief, there was just awkward silence. Regardless though it was an awesome act! For those of you that dont know, this was his AGT Auditions act which i highly recommend you watch if you havent seen it

This guys sleight of hand, technology, and teamwork is out of this world. I can't do this stuff but I know enough to spot the switches for lots of magicians and I know what points he has to be doing the switches and for the life of me I can't spot them. His delivery is 100% perfect, I don't think anyone but the best of the best can really spot every single switch up he does.

at 4:54 you also see a queen of spades on his left part of his chest, he just has a backup plan and forces you to pull the 7 or the queen. And whether you choose on or the other he just will rub the card on the other side of his chest. Besides that I rlly love him as a magician :D
