I absolutely love your channel! You always put me in a better mood and keep me motivated! I do have a question a little bit off topic but it got me thinking... do you prefer sprouted grains for bread making or sourdough? I've maintained a sourdough starter for a while but watching this video got me thinking about sprouting my wheat before using it and if that would be better (health wise)?

I could just picture Stu behind the camera thinking ”how lucky I am” when you two shot the first bite clip at the end. You and the food are a site to behold, Shaye - elegant and delightful! Can’t wait to try this recipe for my family and friends - your shortbread cookies have been a favorite of my husbands!

I’m amazed at those apples we hate spraying anything but our apples here in SE Pennsylvania were terribly wormy without spray.

The very best cooking apples are Bramleys. Way too sour to eat uncooked but perfect for baking. Never was able to find them in the US but available everywhere in Ireland and the UK.

I grew up with baked apples. I always liked them better than pie. As an adult I love apple crisp. This looks like a good and easy combination of these two favorite foods! We had our first good apples on our apple tree this year. Home grown is heavenly in crisp, even when comparing to the best store bought apples I've had.

So love your cooking videos, especially when using a gorgeous copper pan. Six years wait for the home grown apples is an example of looking to the future to live a wonderful sustainable life. I love your earrings too, any chance you can mention where you bought them?

@kathya1956 I think taste in fruit is very subjective. What is your favorite apple? Mine is a fresh-off-the-tree Golden Delicious. It tastes so much better than the ones from the store. But there are a lot of varieties I have never tasted.

Would you PLEASE consider doing a video on how you take care of your Apple trees during the year. Ours have not produced well, the few we did get had lots of bug holes, etc. Yours looks beautiful!!!

The care of fruit trees somewhat depends on where you live. There are different pests in the Eastern US than the West.

I have trees in upstate NY and I was told I will need to spray them or they will end up diseased and will be eaten by bugs. I was disappointed I thought I could grow apples without pesticides.
