I don't see a problem teaching it. The question is do we have the players to be effective in this kind of play. I remember Coach Chot realization from his stint in 2007 and 2013, we can't do Euro plays as we don't have the right size and skills in some of the positions to adapt this offense. Like in the play 5:14 to 6:05, the last player to have the ball and shoot it might be our 6'3" guy and the closer is a 6'7" guy that might be enough to distract the shooter. Kiefer said it best that sometimes he barely sees the rim in the WC when he shoots which might be an issue here. Note the Australian defense does overreact on top-level teams. I don't think Australia will over react if Baynes will switch on our guards hence Delladova will not sag off of his man. Also, we don't have a Gasol talent level player in our roster. I read an article that Coach Tab tried swing offense which is popular in Euro, during the Estonia trip of 2015 Gilas. He used the Dribble drive in the first half and we were down by one then tried the swing offense we went down by 20. That's why dribble drive offense was used more in Fiba Asia 2015. It didn't help that Fajardo is not on the lineup to boost the swing offense post play.

Great video as always Eric . I may be biased because I'm a huge Houston Rocketts fan , but I believe the Rockets have the best offense in basketball and Mike D'Antoni is the best offensive coach in the game . Can we hear your analysis of the Rockets offensive philosophy next time ?

Dude Spain is 30th most populated country in the world and they have the best national league outside NBA, plus their national team is really good only in the last 20 years, when Gasol brothers retire it will be interesting to see how the play and if they have this much success. If you want a really small country you should look at the ABA league (former Yugoslavia, very low finances) and Lithuania that has only 2 million people. They have been producing stars for the last 50 years and they've had success over a longer period of time.
