Part I of this series: kzbin.info/www/bejne/opSyf4Wcf7eXrtU Do you think this concept of shot selection in relation to the shot clock can be applied? Or too difficult to coach and learn as a player?

It should be a must, to look for the open shot in the first 14-16 sec of the possession, (quick cuts & kick out passes) Then penatrate if no open look, attempt offensive rebound or get fouled👍🏀

I like these analyses. More please. Hopefully more coaches learn from this. Isolation is good only if you are Michael Jordan/Kobe Bryant type of skill. For the majority, teams are way better if they move the ball with assists on sweet spots (shot selection) of players.

Great video, big fan of you as a player and as a coach. Is it best to ignore the last 5 second contested shot to create a habit for players to find an open teammate regardless of the shot clock? Wouldn't a bad shot create more transition opportunities to the other team and also create selfish attitude to some players. Assuming there's data to show taking contested shots under 5 seconds statistically is better. Anyway, thanks for posting this video.

I wish you would become a Gilas coach one day.

Does that mean James Harden is like the perfect offensive specimen?

TheJacqueswong He is an offensive specimen! In the regular season anyways..... in the playoffs, I’d like to see him mix in the occasional floater or pull up. Those are usually there because of his predictable shot selection. Plus they are still high percentage shots..... thanks for the questions
