Our friends went to Montana for their honeymoon in August, and we all thought they were so weird until they got back and we saw their pictures. Every single one was amazing. Everybody doesn’t love the beach and tropical places, so I’m glad they did what made them happy. They’ve convinced this beachhead to try something new.

10:40 you could get some mud flaps. They would solve that problem. That’s what they’re for. Would save you some time cleaning Ruby. They won’t keep her pristine but they would keep most of that mud off of her and would be a cheap easy mod.

“Last best place” is what we call Montana, so there are a lot of things named after that. I live outside of Bozeman, the more expensive and hipster version of Missoula few fun facts: This winter was way too warm. Snowpack was gone super early and was nowhere near deep enough. Our snowpack feeds many major river systems in America so this is pretty bad, but we’ve had a ton of rain in spring so hopefully will be okay. The bitterroot wilderness which spans into Frank Church River of no return is the largest forested wilderness area in the lower 48. Only one bigger overall is Death Valley. Western Cafe is okay, there are better options. Lastly for anyone who comes to town, we really don’t plow. Know how to drive in snow or come in summer.

The "last best" thing is a very Montana adjective and gets added on to any type of business. I've heard last best brewery, last best pizza restaurant, last best radio station, etc. I've lived here for 13 years now and would rather not hear another "last best" jingle. Glad you had a good time here. You should come back in the spring or fall. It's really spectacular in the shoulder seasons. Summer is great to if the smoke from wildfires isn't too bad.

Huckleberrys are like a cranberry and blue berry mixed. A young Lass would make a special Huckleberry desert for her true love, so when Val says I will be your Huckleberry it is a very mixed message. Hope you did not get caught up in the avalanche issues. The skijoring looks like fun to watch, we had a pony that pulled us skiing and sledding as kids. Stay safe and healthy.

Happy to see you enjoying my part of the country! Huckleberries are my very favorite. Try the jam or pie! For those who don't know, think blueberry but smaller and more intense flavor, a bit more tart. Grows above about 2000' in the NW where there is snow and enough rainfall, ripe in august or september depending on climate and sun. Coastal huckleberries (more red than purple) aren't the same.
