You should also have mentioned that the enchantment for the Steel Battleaxe of Fiery Souls can be disenchanted and both the soul trap and the fire damage count as a single enchantment, making the enchantment useful later in the game. In fact, Fiery Soul Trap and Chaos Damage are among two of the most useful weapon enchantments, if not the two best weapon enchantments.

It's also worth mentioning that the enchantment can be learned from the battleaxe of fiery souls. While it can be mimicked via the dual-enchantment perk, the fiery souls enchantment itself counts as a single enchantment, meaning you could stack another enchantment with it using dual-enchantment. Add that to the fact that it fills soul gems giving you have the means to recharge the weapon often and you have an exceedingly strong weapon.

The Steel Battleaxe of Fiery Souls can be destroyed in an Arcane Enchanter to learn its effect and can then be applied to other weapons. I believe the enchant also benefits from all perks that affect fire-type enchants and will boost its fire damage as you level up in destruction like other fire enchanted items.

You can obtain chillrend at level 1 or 2 as long as you get the whirlwind sprint shout. Use the shout at the side balcony next to the Mercer's home balcony with the drop bridge. I made it onto the roof of his house and dropped on his balcony and entered the house and obtained chillrend very early on. Sadly its enchantment was less powerful than when you do it at level 20 or 40

If you disenchant the battle-axe it'll act as 1 enchantment when you go to use it on another weapon allowing you to put a total of three enchantments on a weapon provided you have the right perk

I was hoping you'd feature the flaming sword. It's a fairly ordinary sword with a flame enchantment, but its visual effect has actual flames coming off the blade. I've only seen it a couple of times in all my play throughs. Once, I got it in Valtheim Towers and another time in a bandit chest somewhere. There doesn't seem to be a reliable way of getting it.

I have seen it and found it as well sometimes if you enter the area but leave and not visit the spot then the body will despawn but the axe will have move a bit sometimes in the grass near where the body is found.

Yup! I was incensed that my house is only over a small hill from a bandit cave--Pinewatch bandit sanctuary--just above an altar filled with skulls and blood, attended by a respawning necromancer, and right near him is the dead body of the lumberjack. I'm going to get that bastard in Falkreath who sold me this piece of property! It also gets attacked by giants and bandits all the time, and I once opened the door to go out and there was a dragon with its mouth open and its jaw on the steps! Then just two days ago, I opened to door out and a dead dragon fell right on the path, almost on my house. Sheesh!

I've only taken one man to 96 before got too boring and I dould carry the throat of the world use firestorm repeatedly four a unknown amount of time which only makes the magic level show up on screen and you would have to have a very impressive self made self improved and self enchanted with the strongest damage enchantment you have to light my health meter if you hit me 5 times with it

Fiery souls is my favorite enchantment! That battle axe can be disenchanted. I like to use it on bows, with only one second on the soul trap part, since the fire damage doesn't go down at all.

The Steel Battleaxe of Fiery Souls also has a unique aspect of being able to be disenchanted to gain the “Fiery Soultrap” enchantment, and is effected by both the Fire Skill Tree AND can be boosted when applied to Stahlrim when used in conjunction with a Frost Enchantment. It’s actually pretty strong & allows you to essentially Triple Enchant your weapons.

You can get Chillrend before the quest. You can jump onto the Temple of Mara, use Whirlwind Sprint, and then pick the lock.

There’s actually a note near the Chillrend called «Many thanks», in which someone under the name of R. thanks Mercer for stealing an item from the Castle Dour’s armory. That item is most probably the Chillrend itself.

a suggestion for the mysteries series: in riftin, the homeless woman (i forget her name, she stays in the marketplace) has a lot of interesting character quirks and things she says, but two things about her behavior are unique- the first is that she will always attack grelod if grelod is hit with a frenzy spell (even going so far as to run through the orphanage into the little play area), which nobody else in the city does, and the second is that when vampires attack riftin, she will side with the vampires; these are two rly unique character traits with wild implications but there’s no reasons given for it- she’s just rly fascinating lol

Actually, the notched pickaxe is the best in the game. It's the ONLY pickaxe that can be improved by smithing. Great enchantment, and better weapon now with my smith. It even helps itself with the extra 5! Hits like a good Daedric Warhammer now.

Chillrend is also found in Morrowind atop a wardrobe in the guard barracks of the starting town. You can loot it using the invisibility trick and a cleverly placed item or well-timed jump.

Regarding the "Akaviri Sword" , all swords that the Blades used in ES4 Oblivion are called Akaviri Katanas, except for Jaufree's, which is the Akaviri Dai-Katana. Technically all Blades Swords in Skyrim should be called Akaviri swords, so I'm guessing Ancestor Moths sword (which the Moths were very important in Oblivion as well) was also meant to be labeled as Blades sword, but since he's not a blade, it's just given its generic name.

You don't need the perk for pickpocketing equipped weapons to get the Akaviri Sword from Dexion. If you reverse pickpocket a weapon with higher base damage Dexion will equip that weapon the next time you enter the area, leaving the Akaviri Sword in his inventory.

Oblivion had many artifacts that were recolours of standard items, including Chillrend. So maybe it was supposed to represent Stalhrim, or maybe they just decided to make it blue so it would be "unique" much like other unique items in the game. Since it seems that Malachite (Glass) is best when mixed with other metals, usually Moonstoon, I like to think that Chillrend is a special type of Glass that mixes Malachite and Stalhrim.

What about the warhammer Stendarr's Hammer? I had no idea it existed until I randomly decided to explore the Dwemer museum in Markarth. You can find it there and it has a base damage of 46 (versus usual warhammers that have an average base damage of 20-30) plus additional damage of 22 and stamina damage of 20 per hit. Granted that's the stats when I picked it up at level 25. Who knows if it could be higher than that at a higher level, but I still think it's pretty cool and it looks pretty cool too!
