For those who are a bit confused: The AIM-9L/I and the AIM-9L/I-1 are TWO DIFFERENT MISSILES. The L/I is found of the F-4F KWS LV, and was previously on the EF-2000 before it was replaced with the L/I-1, which featured a smokeless motor (now removed), and has been replaced with the AIM-9M.

Apart from the fact that the whole point of the video is that the L/I-1 isn't smokeless and everyone keeps saying that even though it's not true which is what caused the controversy. This is the whole issue.

f111c still the same br as f111f despite it having less thrust and missing it's 750lb bombs, shoulder mounted aim9l, mavericks, tv guided bombs, outer wing pylons and propably a lot more...

I think the issue with the "reload for balance" argument concerning the pzh.2000 was more to do with logic than historical accuracy. Gaijin were saying the reload was at 10 seconds for balance, which makes no sense as there are similar vehicles at similar BRs with better reloads. The Type 99 SPH sits at 7.3 with a 7.5 second reload and (on launch, this has since been fixed on the pzh) similar mobility. More pertinently, the PLZ 05 sits at the same BR of 7.7 with a 7.5 second reload AND the addition of spall liners in the turret, superior mobility (on launch) and a roof-mounted .50 cal. By all metrics, it is a better vehicle than the pzh was and yet the pzh was hamstrung by an inaccurate reload.

There's also the fact Gaijin *heavily* advertises War Thunder on the basis of its "realism". So it's *very* legitimate for players to get angry about unrealistic reloads being used for balance. Especially since if a vehicle is too strong with its current reload, they can always just increase its BR.

what is the br system for if we cant give tanks their accurate factual reload because "it will get nerfed" moved it up in its fucking br then what is it for ???

Because there are other factors to a vehicle than just reload. If you move up a vehicle based on reload especially at that BR bracket, it will run into fully stabilized vehicles that it won't be able to deal with.
