Don't forget about the Sony 18-105, f4. It's a power zoom lens so it's remote controllable zoom just like the 16-50. I have both lenses. 16-50 is great for motorcycle bag. 18-105 is great for paid work.

I have the A6600 and use it with the Zhiyun Crane M2 with 16-50mm lens. Great compact travel setup!

Yup! That collapsible, pancake, power-zoom, kit lens is the first lens that I'm getting when I get my A6600. It's the only affordable Sony power-zoom. And it's just so darned convenient!

You can use clear image zoom with any lens but on the zoom ones you need to start record or go into video mode for it to show up.

Recently picked up the a6600 on a great deal I couldn't pass up! You pretty much hit all the points on what I've been doing to all my new cameras when I first get them. I do like the EOSHD Pro Color V4.0 settings quite a bit for picture profiles.

Since A6600 is now priced $1200 ($300 more than A6400) Which one would be a better choice? A6400+ few spare batteries+ lens with OSS Or A6600+ lens without OSS??

Siddhant Khanal don’t rely on Ibis for stabilisation on the a6600 if you’re not going to use a lens with oss. If you care about having a internal flash that pops out then the a6400 is a better choice. But if you don’t care about flash then a6600 with better battery life will be great but if you’re going to use it for video with a lens with no oss then you will need a gimbal.

The A73/R3/A6400 can all do face autofocus in video, in 4K while connected via HDMI. You just have to disable internal recording and only record on the external device (e.g. Atomos). Gerald Undone did an entire video just about this.

I was confused by your video settings. Why not just go to manual set your shutter set your f-stop and then set auto iso. Using apature priority or shutter priority seems a strange way to do things ( or is it a Sony thing with auto iso).

I should have mentioned this would be outside when the ISO is already set to as low as it can go and you dont want to go in full auto mode.

Both are great cameras, if you want a higher megapixel better stills camera go 90d, if you want a more compact better video camera with stabilization go a6600 👍

If you want better low light and the 90d dosen't have real 4k its upcraled 1080p while a6600 has 6k downscale to 4k so it's way sharper in video. 90d is better for photography (barely) while video is whyyyyy a6600

Good tips G! Sony should make an A6xxxCVF...basically take the best features and apsc sensor of the 6400 & 6600 and put it into an A74 style body. They'd need a flip screen because of the Centralized Viewfinder bump. Now that I'm daydreaming, what do they offer for crop sensor wildlife cameras? I'm assuming it's just crop mode on the full frame models. Hmm, I think I'm going "shopping"😂

NV - Only US uses NTCS out the box - I had to change to get 24p.... all good :)

If Sony listened to user feedback, they would have cleaned up the menus decades ago. And they would have made touch screens work with the menus. (Says the guy who bought into the Sony ecosystem knowing FULL WELL just how bad the menus are...)

Ok... this is the first time I've really seen the Sony menu system. I'd heard it was a mess from other creators, but nobody really dove into it in their reviews. Seeing it here, all I can say is wow... that's just awful. Combine that menu with the complete inability to do anything on the screen itself, and this camera has dropped from a strong contender to somewhere close to the bottom of my list.
