If you put a color wash, blur effect or some kind of superimposition over your videos, you can usually get them on KZbin without blocking. Remember that 99% of the viewers watching your reaction have already seen the official video anyway (probably dozens of times)...and if they haven't, they can watch the official video first THEN watch your reaction. The thing that's remarkable about this song (and every song on the brilliant At Home EP) is that each member, due to lockdown, had to record their individual parts in their homes without hearing what the others were doing...yet the harmonies are all PERFECT!! That's nothing short of incredible! And we Pentaholics always say, Pentatonix doesn't cover songs...they UPGRADE them!!

fable...u also have to take in is .....this was recorded separately in their own homes w/o hearing the others sing thru zoom and then mixed during the pandemic. As was their entire album "home".

I love Mitch's voice as well, but have to say, Matt's bass (slides?) in this are incredible. Love this cover, and think almost all of their covers are better than the originals (with a very few exceptions!).

You’re my favorite to watch for Ptx reactions. Everything you say is spot on. With this song the original is ok, nothing special but this version is amazing! These guys just can’t fail. They can’t. They did this during the lock down of the Pandemic from their separate homes. You should also watch the Billie Eilish cover of When the Parties Over, It was phenomenal. And if you love Mitch's voice well this is the one to watch. Great reaction

So many people want you to say that one group is better than another. I agree with you. You can like one version more than another, but that's just your taste, and doesn't mean it's "better". We get this a lot with Home Free, which is an amazing a capella group. Their songs tend to have a more country sound, which is not my thing, but I don't think PTX is better than them. They just suit my taste better. Oh, and if you ever see PTX live, you should wear a T-shirt with "They are insanity" on it, and everyone will know it's you. 😎

The Weeknd writes fantastic music, or has it written for him. I'm not familiar with how he gets his songs. He also has a very nice voice. That being said, he autotunes the heck out of Blinding Lights to get the sounds that Pentatonix tosses at us naturally.

I know I've been driving you crazy with AHA Live in Singapore. because if you like Mitch, you will see him SHINE in a live performance.. it far outshines their video cover.. in my modest opinion. :) also, if you want to see Kevin and Matt blend so well, as well as Mitch and Kirsti you have to watch : new rules/ are you that somebody. :)

As always, I enjoyed the heck out of your reaction :-) I've run into the same difficulty comparing PTX covers to other artists work - you hit the nail on the head, it's apples to oranges! With Hallelujah, I settled on saying Jeff Buckley has the best solo rendition, while PTX does my favorite group version. Sound of Silence was more complicated, because Disturbed is a group as well, so I'm reduced to admitting I love both and which I listen to depends on my mood

Hope you'll get to this year's solo beatbox wildcards when you're able to. If the compilation video is too long, and you want to just break it up into individual beatboxers I'd suggest Den, Show-Go, Stich, Gene, and River for the more singing-driven musically structured routines. A few other winners are in the more complex drum patterns and crazy sounds style.
