@Grange TV Hey Fabricio , Robert has credited you with his wrestling skill getting so good. Can you do an episode on your involvement in wrestling, Robert's wrestling partners, and Aussie wrestling in general?
@ods1ODS3 жыл бұрын
@@TheFairOnePodcastGrangeTV Rob's wrestling skill has really blossomed under your tutelage. You can really see it in his clinch work. I remember when he started winning tournaments in Australia I thought he had a decent shot at qualifying for the Tokyo Games. Did you agree? And if I'm not mistaken, you're background is mostly BJJ? Have you always just had a good feeling for wrestling and got good at it as a byproduct of your grappling or were you a wrestler too? And finally, do you feel Aussie wrestling is on the rise? In addition to your homegrown talent you have quite a few international guys (Ilyasov, Prizreni, etc) plugged into both the wrestling and MMA scenes, have you guys trained with these fellas at all? I'm a writer covering wrestling and MMA for intermat.com and I always include Rob in my post fight write ups. You've got a new fan of your channel, thanks for the reply Fabricio.

After hearing Craig stories you realize the difference between bjj and mma is in what you can remember from your fighting career. Mma, if gone wrong leaves you with very Little to talk about
@Bruh-vy3td4 жыл бұрын
*!Guys give me your opinion on this!* I think grapplers in MMA should be able to butt scoot and not be forced to stand. Like: if they are butt scooting and the other guy on his feet is backing up- the stand up guy is the staller. The stand up guy is running away from a guy on his butt and not engaging. Why should the guy on his butt be forced to stand? That's good strategy and it's not stalling. Its orienting the fight where you want it-and scooting toward the stand up guy. The guy running away from the butt scooter is stalling. Your thoughts?
@Bruh-vy3td3 жыл бұрын
@MrJre4491 I dont think they should stand them up in a dominant position either though. Stand ups make no sense imo.
@peekaboojujitsoo5258 ай бұрын
then you completely turned a "combat" sport into contrived nonsense. If they are allowed to butt scoot then the guy standing should be allowed to knee, stomp, or kick him in the face and/or body.

@bthetechnique65815 жыл бұрын
Did not hear the difference in pronunciations of Craig at all. What's the Australian pronunciation?
@merkins875 жыл бұрын
Craig is from Victoria, Rob, Eli & Fab are from New South Wales. Victorians tend to pronounce their "e"s like "a"s. Very subtle differences between accents otherwise, variations usually occur between different ethnic backgrounds.
@bthetechnique65815 жыл бұрын
@@merkins87 that's interesting but there's no 'e' in Craig which to me both times sound like Creg. Was it like Creg vs CrAge?

@@bthetechnique6581 yeah it would sound almost like Greg to a foreigner. I didn't actually realise that Craig ("cray-g") is actually from South Australia, but he's clearly spent a fair bit of time in Victoria
